We have just returned from our third time at El Delfin it is an excellent place for kids, cannot fault any of the pools or the beach it is beautiful BUT the staff just seem to really not enjoy their jobs.
We stayed in the glamping first year and never again it was so noisy and warm. The bungalows are so well equipped and the air con works brilliantly.
The fact you cannot just walk out for food bugged us seeing as twice we stood for 20minutes waiting to be seated with 3kids and then when seated had to get our own menus and then it was like we were a pain trying to order.
There is a good few places to eat but the menus aren’t that big so if there for over a week you’ll struggle to change it up!
We were there for 10days in a Barcelona bungalow and got a bag of sheets and towels dropped at our bungalow on day 5 which I was expected to change (I didn’t expect that after the price we had paid) no house keeping during our stay!
We went to reception on the first morning about a problem we had with a door and no one ever arrived to fix the problem.
The place is amazing but they definitely need to do some staff training and listen to customers a bit more. There was one staff member George in the Mexican and he was so friendly and had time for the customers his friendliness brought us back there numerous times!

Amazing place for families. Not a quiet relaxing place, quite loud till late at night.
But for children it’s amazing! My kids had a blast both in the camp and on the beach nearby.

Good shows, like Lion King, Frozen and Queen Tribute.
The shows finish late (but are good!) and then you have everyone returning to their accommodation. Some even stay up beyond 0100am eating and drinking on their porches.

Which can disturb your sleep, especially the young ones. Cleanliness of the place is very good, cost of food/drinks etc as expected….. the supermarket on site is very handy, And reasonably priced. Lots for kids to do, but found that if it isn’t sunny half the slides close as the management don’t feel it’s cost effective…. According to lifeguard.

Which is great for the company but not for you who have paid to use the facilities.
The whole site has been updated, although some of the lodges are owned by other companies like Lifestyle, Eurocamp, and Rent-a-tent. Which look a bit dated.
We stayed in a Glamping Tent which was great and fun for kids. Found no oven or grill, just a hob and microwave. But overall nice and fun to stay in.

Only issue was at night as the glamping tents are not sound proof and positioned very badly. Our bedroom backed directly on to the porch of another tent. And they stayed up late! Security had to be called which did quieten things down but got a rude email back stating we were basically lying.

Staff in general ok, some are quite rude and aren’t interested in customer service.

Also found life guards like to use the toilets as a cigarette hide out. Which isn’t great for guests or kids using facilities.

I would go again, but would not book a tent.

We have been at the camping for a nice weekend . 4 Bungalows Costa Brava , with our friends and their children. The swimming pools are great fun for the children, it was just very crowded. The bungalows are well equipped , with an airco that´s of good quality. We will definatly be back.

We have just returned from another visit to El Delfin Verde. Truly a magnificent camping resort that caters for all. The water park is phenomenal with something for everyone. Sports and activities for all. The Animacion team is unbelievable, from the kids clubs and sporting events to the awesome mini disco each evening and then topped off with the outstandingly brilliant shows - Greatest Showman being our favourite 😁

The attention being shown to keeping residents safe, the top quality cleaning and monitoring of all aspects of COVID related restrictions is brilliant - well done all !!

Would we stay again, in a heartbeat !!!

The pool area is jammed packed and no sun loungers available unless you are there at opening time…such bad value for money, all the staff are so so rude and obnoxious, they just don’t like their customers. The areas around the accommodation is nice but there
Is no luxury even on the highest standard accommodation, the only saving grace for our holiday was the lovely beach 5 mins walk away. The food in the restaurants is poor and not value for money. The gym is extra, which is not stated on the website. It’s not a cheap holiday to begin with so charging extra to use the facilities is a step too far… next they will introduce payments for sun beds. They have obviously get too greedy over the years. The resort is overpriced but if you want a holiday spent queuing for every activity from getting into pool area to the slides, then go for it but not for us, never again…..

We arrived in the time between lunch and dinner. The check in process was smooth. We had to eat at the snack bar as we couldn't wait for dinner, the chicken wrap was really poor so we thought the worst that the quality was maybe an indication of the rest of the report and we worried for the rest of the trip. BUT we needn't have worried. The resort is really excellent. Food in the sit down restaurants is superb, really surprising quality for a resort

The supermarket is really cheap and has a massive range. We compared it with the nearest on the main road and it is the same price.

We stayed in a bungalow which was lovely and had everything needed. I would flag that a cot won't really fit in 2 of the three bedrooms in the Barcelona 3 bungalow which caused us some problems.

The entertainment was great for off season.

Sports bar was nice but didn't show the champions league which was strange.

Beach is lovely and accessible.

Waterpark is really amazing for a camping. Such a big draw to come back to.

The surrounds themselves are lovely, definitely feeling like youre in a natural park.

Was really great value for money.

Minor criticisms not covered above:

It was very quiet during the week then got very busy at the weekend with long queues for the supermarket. There were seagulls in the pool a couple of times. The path lights were poorly maintained with wires coming out of one of them but generally 99% of maintenance was flawless. Service in the restaurants was hit and miss but the food was always excellent.

My family and I made a reservation for August 2024 and a week after making the reservation we received an email with a notification that there was an error in the price we paid and that the new price was 500 euros more. We wrote back saying that this is not legal, that if there was an error in the price the hotel must assume its error. A few days later we receive a notification that our reservation was canceled and until today that haven't responded to our mails. They are shameless!!!!

First of all: be careful to the small letters for check in and out !!! They say you check in at 1PM, but the just had the Glamping ready at 6PM. My husband and I spent most of the only sunny day we had, trying to find a way and ask for the kids at the reception (theyARE KIDS) for a space in a freezer for the food, but the answer we had was: don’t you have any friends here?
They were not joking, that was the last answer. They were not helpful and we lost must of all the food we brought for the stay.
The team is completely unprepared to welcome guests and offer solutions for the problems they create.
Second day we could not enjoy the park, for the storm, day and night. I completely understand it is an issue aware of their control, but I asked for some empathy because today we have to drive for hours and no one in the resort could sleep tonight… Again, they could not allow a family with small kids to stay until a couple of hours late. I work with hospitality and the poor attitude from the front office is very unacceptable. They not even look at the eyes because know that, after all, this is a machine to make money, and a little of flexibility and respect regarding the clients is not the strength of the team.

We stayed in El Delfin Verde in June 22. This was our second time to stay here. Last time was pre covid. On our first visit we had an amazing holiday but this time was just outstanding!! The resort has had extensive renovations and is now more of a resort than a campsite! The slides, the pools, the beaches, the shows, the kids clubs everything was just Amazing!!! As a family of 6 we booked the Pinnel. It is very basic and similar to the Eurocamp cabins that were there previously. If we could have afforded better accomodation we would have but you don't spend much time in the accomodation so it's ok. In this particular cabin the toilet and shower are seperate which isnt ideal. We were also backed on to a road which was extremely noisy as it was an unfinished road and you can hear everything in the cabins. I contacted the support centre via the email address and honestly they were just outstanding! Denise was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She went above and beyond what we would have expected. It was the best customer service I have experienced on holiday! Denise came to the villa and personally apologised for the issue. They did not have an alternative available at the time but she gave us three different options. When we moved it was absolutely perfect!! The staff in this resort are honestly just incredible. The kids clubs and the entertainment team are phenomenal! They work so hard to ensure everyone has the best time. The activities are just brilliant! The bar and wait staff again - amazing. They just couldnt do enough for you. Thr pools and slides are so good. We didn't leave the resort as it was just so much fun every day. We stayed for 2 weeks so that is saying something when we didnt get bored!! The shows ar night in particular the Greatest Showman were of such a high standard! The performers honestly blew us away!! If we were to go again which we hope to do ae would consider hiring a car as there are loads of places to visit in the surrounding areas. I honestly could not recommend this destination highly enough! Thank you to Denise and all the wonderful staff at El Delfin verde for making our holiday so special!!

We spent over one week at El Delfin Verde and must say it was a total paradise. The service, staff friendliness, cleaning and the whole experience made our holiday very memorable.
Ideal during Covid times as you can keep social distance while enjoying your own space.
Would recommend this resort to anyone
