Nice historical hotel but only reception was open all evening. It was Sunday night but even so it would have been good to get some food and drink. Room looked dated bath needed replacing. It could be a wonderful hotel with some investment in upgrading the bed rooms.

Having read the reviews on board the ship from Portsmouth to Bilbao, I was looking forward to staying here. The parking was perfect, secure, easy to find, and free! Bedroom was clean, and so was the bathroom, even if it was small and in need of updating. What more can you expect for the price? The food was very good,... More

The TV in the room is the largest oldest TV ever made, although to be fair the bed was comfortable. Vinyl headboards looked a bit tacky though. For the price a budget hotel... More

A nicely restored former convent which is now a hotel. Some rooms are better than others (see room tips) but the hotel seems like a nice place so have an explore! The cloister/courtyard is lovely for drinks...

This former convent has been modernised and reequipped in a most tasteful manner to become the three star hotel it is today. Siutated in the town where Don Quixote went tilting at the famous windmills on a ridge a few Kilometers away, the Convento is charming. Room are minimalistic yet comfortable. The TV set in the room was a rather... More

We had decided to stop in Alcazar because the train from Malaga to Valencia was really really REALLY taking his time (something like 12 hours between those cities). We decided to stop at the Convento for one night, the staff was helpful, the hotel seemed quite empty. They have a nice interior court, the rooms are fine, although the bathroom... More
