Unbeatable small boutique and family hotel. Difficult to define as it really is a Gem close to Pisa. The rooms are spacious and superbly decorated. I suggest the Livonia rooms. The park is very nice and weather permitting you can relax below the "Joshua Tree". Managed by the Micheletti family with a delicate and friendly touch. Superb. Will be back...

We had a very nice experience here. The room is big and comfortable. The shower is nice and clean. Breakfast was tasty, in a toscan tradition way. The hosters were nice and we got some good recommendations from them. Only one thing, 2 of the four walls are glass which can harm the privacy of your stay. Also 2 entry...

Overall: loved our stay here and were made to feel very welcome. Positives: - incredibly friendly staff and so helpful - lovely room - very modern, clean, well appointed and really comfortable beds - set in the middle of the countryside with mountains on one side - there's a large patio to sit on and enjoy - great buffet breakfast...

We stayed here on our way back from a Tuscany holiday as we had an early flight the next day from Pisa. A very comfortable hotel in large grounds. Easy to find. The room was large and very well appointed - very comfortable bed. We had a meal in their restaurant which was really first class. We had a taster...

We chose this for its central location to Pisa and Florence, the room was nice and people were friendly and also spoke English. The breakfast is the real draw, it is included in the room and it is high class! We never ate in the restaurant as it seemed too fancy for us but we enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here for a night and booked through Expedia. When we checked out, the owner's wife demanded payment for the room while we expected to pay only the city tax since the room was prepaid through the travel agent website. I checked my credit card to confirm the card was charged and asked her to contact E xpedia since...

Family run, beautiful fine dining using only the best ingredients. rooms fabulous, service, just great. close to Pisa airport, a must try. The leaning tower is only five minuets away by car, so romantic. Close to Florence they even offer a lift (at a small charge) to the train station.

I just fell in love with this place! The hosts are insanely nice and the place is very cute! We just loved ordering wine or coffee and sipping it at the front porch. Dinner and breakfast are great, too! The room we had was a bit small, but just fine for a couple of days. It's a perfect stay for...

We changed our plans and needed to find a place to stay overnight. Clicked on Trip Advisor, read the reviews..and booked it! The owners, Anna and Lucca speak perfect English. The room was large, with a comfortable king-sized bed and an immaculately clean and modern bathroom. The free wifi is very fast. We had dinner there, overlooking the mountains and...

The Locanda is perfectly situated just off the main road between Pisa and Lucca. It rests on farmland and is lovely. The staff is excellent...friendly and helpful. We had a lovely very large modern room with walk-in closet, walk-in shower...all immaculate with all amenities. That said the room really had no privacy unless the very heavy drapes were drawn which did...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Locanda boasts nine rooms and suites, all spacious and fully equipped with every possible amenity. To provide a warm, inviting atmosphere, all accommodations have been elegantly furnished in the original Tuscan traditional and look out onto the broad green expanse of the estate. The main hallway of the erstwhile farm house leads to the Locanda’s most alluring accommodations: the white room, with its wrought iron balcony giving out onto courtyard, the enchanting play of lights in the bedroom that was once the granary, up to the large glass door of the wing offering a panoramic view of the horizon and mountains. The architecture and furnishings have been designed to make your stay at the Locanda Sant’Agata a unique experience: the large walk-in closets, comfortable oversized beds, bathrooms cared for in the smallest detail and the Italian-designed room furnishings. What’s more, your house pets are welcome; we will even provide pillows and bowls! . ... more   less
