We visited this little gem in Tuscany in August this year. I can honestly say that this was without doubt one of the nicest holidays we have ever had. The location is tranquil, stunning and the owners (Ivana and Andrea) could not do enough for us. We had fresh figs and peaches from the tress in their garden every day and...

We went to stay in Il Poggetto in May 2010 and we enjoyed the place very much. The house is very neat and clean for our family of four with 2 little children and there is a small verandah to eat outside that we used everyday. It would be a bit small in the house if it rains but this...

Il Poggetto is in a wonderful hilltop position with great views over the Tuscan countryside. It is close to Florence, and places such as Siena and San Gimignano are easy day trips. Our apartment was attractive, very clean and had everything that we needed for self-catering. The owners were very helpful and the site was immaculate with beautiful well-tended grounds....

My wife and I had a wonderful time. Our guest house was comfortable clean and had all the amenities. Andrea and his mother were great hosts and pampered us, with all kinds of treats. It was quiet, relaxing and peaceful with beautiful views and hundreds of shades of green. Yummy fruits growing on trees all over the property, especially the...

I have stayed here several times and have loved my stay each time (I now refuse to stay anywhere else when I am traveling to the Florence area). You can't help but fall in love with the beauty, the area, and the proprietors of this place. Once you enter the gates, the beauty of this hillside manor beckons you to...

On top of a hill, with great views. There are 4 appartements, 3 in one building. They do not all have a good view from the terrace. There is 1 seperate freestanding building with much privacy and the best views on Tuscany landscape directly from the terrace! There is a busy road below which is not strongly present but makes...

“We stayed in La Cipressa - it was absolutley fantastic. A wonderful large kitchen and dinning area and beautiful secluded terrace. It was the perfect spot to enjoy an apertivio after a day exploring the local villages and towns.”

“If you are a family fo 4 - pick La Cipressaia. For a little extra - you really get a lot more - the separation from the other building is really private.”

“Have not seen the 2-person apt. Both of the apts we stayed in were excellent. One (La Pergola) was compact with 2 bedrooms. The other (La Loggia) was very roomy with one bedroom and a large sofa bed in the living room, and it was exquisitely appointed. Both had pleasant patios.”
