Lesley and I spent a great week in the Tower, Roberto (owner) could not have been more helpful, he collected us from the train station and took us the 1km to the tower as it was dark when we arrived. The accommodation and facilities were great, views from rooms and roof terrace were what Tuscany is all about. No traffic...

This property is unique with all the magic and charm you would expect of a conversion with very thick walls.I was so impressed with this property that I was prepared to overlook my aversion to spiral stairs. The tower has quirky spaces that have been cleverly adapted to allow modern plumbing, lighting and spacing for the stairs . We moved the...

We rented this property for 15 days (arrived Sept 1st 2014) as "base camp" as we wanted to travel Tuscany as much as possible. This location is more central in the region and it worked perfectly. There is a bedroom on the ground level, kitchen is next floor up with the master/bathroom/shower one up from that. The rooftop terrace completes...

We spent 2 weeks in the tower, it was our central home in Tuscany for 2 weeks. We were inititally pretty scared of the stairs...yes scared! Within a day our legs quite ached from the stairs. Wtihin a few days our legs and our minds got used to the stairs. We enjoyed many nights on the rooftop, listening to the...

Roberto truly knows the meaning of "hospitality!" My family and I could not have been happier to spend a week in this unforgettable tower. After spending 6 months here in Italia, I can honestly say this was one of the most unique experiences I had. We had our easter dinner on the rooftop terrace, and adored the sound of church...

This holiday will stay in memory for a long time to come. I'm sorry it had to come to an end. I found this Tower on the holidaylettings website almost 18 months ago and although we opted for a holiday in Sicily in 2012, I am so happy that I recollected this property for a summer holiday in 2013. The...

The Tower is absolutely fantastic! A beautiful week was spent in a superb location right in the heart of the rolling hills of Tuscany. The roof was incredible: private and unique, with excellent views - an amazing place to enjoy some quality wine and the Sunset! We cannot recommend this place highly enough. The Owner is very nice indeed and...

This place is great! Such a unique experience being able to stay in a watch tower that's been converted into a lovely apartment. The best part is the rooftop terrace! The view is great, and it's such a great place to start your morning or end your evening! The town is very charming also, although it's important to know which...

We (me and my partner) combined a city trip Milan with a week Tuscany and back a weekend Milan. After a short weekend we rented a car and drove circa 400 km to Asciano (20 km from Siena). The drive was quick and easy. The tower is situated in de wall of the town (private parking). From the roof terrace...

We had a wonderful staying in Giordano's tower. The area of "Crete Senesi" is just astonishing and people in Asciano are extremely welcoming. The tower itself is built on 3 floors with quite steep stairs, but if you are looking for a suggestive italian middle ages experience this is your best bet. Probably this is not a "total comfort" location,...
