The 18th-century manor house, in this 4-star Tuscan hotel, has three rooms and six suites, some of which still have original frescoes. Attention to detail makes this little village quite unique, from the rooms to the suites and from the pool area to the restaurant which serves local Tuscan specialties and has an excellent wine list. The renovations carried out on the village have brought Casabianca back to its former splendor and involved not just the buildings, streets and gardens but also the farm lands and the olive groves. The production of oil, which was once the farm's main activity, is still alive today and the result is an excellent D.O.P. Terre di Siena extra-virgin olive oil: a precious flavor of Tuscany. From the hotel there are splendid vistas of the charming Tuscan countryside towards the Montalcino hills, Mount Amiata, the Crete and Siena. An unforgettable spectacle.

Italy Touring Australia has now used this wonderful Borgo for our private groups for 5 nights at a time over the last few years.
The experience waking up in this location with rolling hills is just delightful. The apartments are decorated in a rustic theme which reflects old world style taking you back in time, the rooms are so spacious and offer an opportunity to completely make yourself at home.
The staff and management have always been so helpful and accommodating on every occasion with any request from our clients. The restaurant has always gone above and beyond with our requests, they make one of the best Florentine steaks. Our medieval surprise dinner on the last night is such a special event with lots of laughs and great memories. The cooking class is also so well done and a great hit with our group.
Stunning location for a wedding group!!
Some small room maintenance issues need to be addressed but nothing that would make a visit to this magical destination a disappointment.

We arrived soaked to the skin from a violent rainstorm and reception did not offer us a towel, even a kindly comment. From the get-go this haute-provincialism tainted our short stay.The "village" or estate has been restored with talent. Our room was far from cozy,
austere, in fact. The layout was awkward (the mini-bar pathetic ), but nothing a good stylist couldn't fix. The view was stunning but the ambiance of the property-- foul. We asked about the pool and someone (an employee lurking around the desk) pointed and said "down there" which meant a hike of one city block to a landscaped setting, sadly infested with mosquitos at 6 pm. We tried to purchase a bottle of olive oil and a bruschetta spread in the gift shop and the manager actually snatched the bruschetta out of my teenage daughter's hands and started ranting that we couldn't eat it in her hotel that if we didn't dine in her on-site restaurant we would have to dine in a restaurant in Asciano. I thought I was in a nightmare at this point. Although we did not plan to dine on-site, neither did we plan to eat olive oil and oily herbs and spices for dinner. A letter describing this experience to the owner yielded nothing. Not surprisingly we left earlier than planned.
I didn't reply you because you are very rude in your different review and my Assistant Manager is good, please read the different review in Tripadvisor. I think you didn't understand her words, because she is loved from all our Guest, please ask directly at Randonnee Tours the agency that booked for you and Robbin that she know very well. Our Staff is very friendly with all the Guests, so your review is not true. You staied in Casabianca, not now in October but in September and it is very strange that only now you write the review. Yours are free offenses, so we say in Italy. I am sorry for you but I think you need treatment to relax.

Had it not been for a large cycling group we would have been the only people in the restaurant. When four of us arrived the waiter said we had booked for two but he could set the table for four - it would have been better if he had just done that without comment as we had booked for four!
We received a glass of prosecco and an amuse buche which was lovely. The antipasti and primos were ok but then things started to go downhill. The Peposo was dried up beef and no real apology was made when we gave feedback. The steak was excellent and the pork was ok. But the real problem here was the complete lack of attention from the staff - the service was poor and indifferent. They really didn't care if you enjoyed your meal or not!
As local residents we will not be visiting again nor will we be recommending this restaurant.

We were very privileged to be invited to a wedding at this venue. The wedding was magical, the bride and groom put a huge amount of effort into ensuring that we all had a wonderful time, which we did. I am not sure how this hotel gets 4 stars, if we had booked as a place to stay we would have been seriously disappointed. Whilst the size of the accommodation is good, the rooms are in state of disrepair, things like mugs and glasses seriously lacking, furniture dilapidated, kitchen units broken. The staff worked hard ... they seemed to be there all hours ... except for Kathy the front of house receptionist/manager, rude is an understatement but we will let you form your own opinion of her. If you get invited to a wedding at this venue we would expect you to have a fabulous time, but don't bother otherwise.

If you need a beautiful and peaceful spot for a wedding, take over the whole place, and organise food and drink yourself, this is a great place.
If you go as a couple or family, it's not.
This place clearly gets most of it's revenue from large parties and weddings.
They let out spare capacity to smaller parties like ours. Our first night was fine - we arrived late but the dining room stayed open, the waiter was friendly, and the food OK.
It went downhill from there.
The breakfast buffet is very limited - hot food limited to scrambled eggs and bacon, typically not very hot. Stodgy croissants. By 9am, most items looked as if they'd been there since 6 - skin on the eggs and warm milk etc.
The choice was identical for our whole 8-day stay, and leftovers of cakes reappeared every day until used up.
Rooms had nice rustic feel, with some issues - no plugs in sinks, shower did not drain so the tray overflowed if you turned it on full. One of our 2 bedrooms had no wardrobe, so we had to share one between four people.
Maid service was very patchy - somedays, beds were not made, toiletries not replaced, bins not emptied etc. Ringing reception with issues resulted in promises but no fixes.
Early on, about 50 guests arrived for a wedding the next day, and a long trestle table was put up right outside our room. We expressed concern about the noise to the management as we have a young daughter, and they promised us that it would end at 10.30.
At 11 it was still in full swing including a ghetto blaster. We complained, and eventually they were asked to turn the music off, but it took another hour until they eventually dispersed, to be followed by raucous returning of drunken guests to rooms all around us including directly above.
The wedding day itself had a disco, with loud music in an outside area until late.
Swimming pool - could do with a bit of TLC - paint peeling, leaves and insects in the pool etc.
Management - generally uncaring, sometimes argumentative.
Lovely spot, but needless to say we will not be returning.
All the Tour Operator we work with and who have visited us say that our Resort is suitable for families with children. The buffet breakfast of our Resort consists, every morning, from fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh bread of at least two qualitiesm typical Tuscan cold cuts, cheeses, scrumbles eggs, bacon, (all kept warm in a special warming-up), at least 4 types of cakes handmade by our Chefs daily, croissant of various types of excellent quality cooked every morning, the presence of waiters throughout the breakfast for the customer service of espresso and American coffee, cappuccino and other. All the international guests present at that time had only appreciaton for the staff and the breakfast. In the Apartment suite the lights are fully functional and if by chance there was a non-working lamp you should have warned the reception and the problem would have been solved. Referring to the wardrobe if you had asked for a piece of furniture in addition, which we always have available on request, we would have immediately solved the problem. Your reservation was in Hotel service, does not allow the use of kitchen, but you have used it every day without cleaning it, you have not been required any additional cost even if provided in case of use. Regarding the event with a long table, for your privacy was placed away from the entrance of your Apartment and the event your Agency was fully informed. None of the management has promised that at 10.30pm an important event would be over. For the respect of the privacy of you and the other guests of the Resort we have agreed with the guests of the event to finish everything at 11.30pm of respect for the whole Resort. For the evening of the party as agreed with the guests, the music is over at midnight. The party area was far from your Apartment, if you wanted total silence at 10.30pm, I am sorry you did not have to book in a Resort with 39 rooms but in a Selfcatering with 2/3 Apartments. Our swimming pool, fully functional, of 144sqm. It is not painted but has a colored cloth and every two hours is cleaned by a porter, however I remind you that we are in the countryside. Our Manager with me (the owner) passing in front of your Apartment have been interested if everything was fine and you answered everything was ok, our Management is amazed at the criticisms made at the Resort. Thanks to the appreciation of the Spot, our Management is always attentive to the needs of the customer and if by chance you were going back you will be fine and better.
