#8 of 10 hotels in Carloforte
Hotel Mezzaluna is in Carloforte, on the Island of San Pietro, in Sardinia, in the centre of the Mediterranean. This island-off-an-island really has it all, for a holiday to write home about: sea, leisure, sport, nature, culture, food and wine. The hotel blends perfectly into the surrounding environment, nestling between Mediterranean maquis and a splendid pine forest, close to the Gulf of Mezzaluna, from which it has borrowed the name. The ideal place for a fun, relaxing holiday in an unspoilt natural landscape.

Struttura semplice, immersa nel verde in assoluta tranquillità. Vicinanza alle spiagge ideale . Gentilissimo lo staff, premurosi è disponibile. Ottima la colazione continentale, le camere sono piccole ma molto pulite. Stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful relaxing time. Great location immersed in nature, peaceful with a good sized swimming pool and bar. The staff were very professional, polite and helpful. The continental breakfast was plentiful and very acceptable. The rooms, all on one level which I particularly liked, are a bit small, but very clean. Excellent value for money. Will definitely stay there again.

Hired a car out of Carlaforte and found ourselves down this lane feeling peckish. Everywhere so far had been closed and here looked just the same. My husband went in search and found a charming man who checked with the chef who agreed to open up just for us. My carbonara was amazing, husband’s fish was small fillets of fresh white flesh in an interesting light tomato sauce both with a side salad. 500ml of a local white, slightly sparkling, went well. Soft, baguette-style bread a relief from the thin & crispy or solid white usually on offer. Bottle of still water & one espresso. All in all a good find on this windy day. €28- very good value. Thank you for making us welcome.

Is a quiet place with spectacular view at 2 steps from the room. This is the perfect place if you want to retire by yourself or beloved and have all the minimal needs. Rooms are comfy and cleaned every day. Minimal tv, minimal service but...you are not here to spend time in your room. Strategic position, with a car, from all the best beaches, view sights and town. Enjoyable also with a bicycle. Dont forget you camera or your notebook.

Rooms are really small but clean. No decoration at all Breakfast has strictly no interest The swimming pool was closed the 3 days we staid (in July). Location is excellent on the San Pietro island (close to nice beaches) and surroundings are very quiet. Overall experience is correct and the price was very reasonable/ corresponding to what we may expect.

Only complaint is room had no windows at all. Also, supper needs to be pre-booked with front desk or you do not eat! Town is a 10 minute drive away and is quite quaint. Nice beaches nearby... Pool was closed for cleaning. Overall, enjoyed our stay
