A wonderfully peacfull haven on the edge of the lake. We had a lake view room with a balcony and, despite rain of biblical proportions, the beauty and tranquility of the view made for a wonderful experience. The hotel is decorated with great taste, the rooms very comfortable with good bathrooms. The public areas are very comfortable and the breakfast...

We stayed at the Rivalago for four days whilst in the area for our friends wedding. The hotel itself is genuinely superb: we could not fault the room, garden, swimming pool or breakfast. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and the hotel is a two minute walk from the ferry point from which you can visit many places....

In many ways this is a good hotel with an ideal location. There are two major drawbacks though and without them I would have graded the hotel good or excellent. First it's hard to get there by car because you have to go down a narrow road just about wide enough for an average car and then reverse back because...

The warm welcome, the proximity to amenities and town centre, that spectacular view, the service and smile at breakfast to the clean, crisp linen and soft sleep in a peaceful and quiet environment. Hotel Rivalago met and exceeded our expectations. What a wonderful stay. The view is breathtaking. Opening the window or French doors as you wake from your slumber...

We stayed hear for 6 nights. The hotel is in a perfect position right on the lake. The room we had was very large with a terrace. My complaint was for the first 2 nights there was a large group from Sweden about 14 in all taking a lot of space round the pool. next came a group from the...

Rivalago is a wonderful hotel if you are looking for a great holiday. The hotel and the property are not pretentious, which suits the layback feel of non-touristy lake d’iseo. The position is spectacular to take full advantage of the stunning views. The hotel offers lovely outdoor areas and a nice pool on the lake foreshore, even though the pool...

Fine if you're a couple or are paying a single supplement but definitely not suitable otherwise (I was travelling with my sister), as the beds are only 2'6" wide, child sized. Mine was also soft. We went with Jules Verne and their brochure did not state only shower rooms. Again, fine if you are a shower person but not otherwise....

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. It has a beautiful position and the rooms are adequate (although could be larger and it would be a good option to offer some rooms with bath). The reason I cannot score the hotel more highly is because of the parking. The hotel is down a very narrow road which we...

At first sight, the hotel and the town were not really what we were expecting. The hotel and grounds were a bit smaller and not as luxurious as I had envisioned. But by the end of our stay, I didn't want to leave! The setting is just so beautiful! The hotel is very well-run, clean, and comfortable. They serve "lunch"...

We stayed in this hotel during Christo's Floating Pier and because of that the town was very crowded and the atmosphere was a bit (too) hectic. The hotel was fully booked, but even then the hotel managed to give top service, friendly, nice room, nice garden. Good value for €. And do have a swim in the lake.
