Stayed here for 5 nights whilst visiting Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Pompeii. Got hotel pick up from Naples station so avoided the need to nervously avoid petty crime and enjoyed the transfer journey. We booked (to be fair) and got 2 small rooms on the ground floor. The twin was fine for our teenagers but the double was very pokey...

OK, three great things about Grand Hotel due Golfi: 1) Possibly the most fantastic view of any hotel room we've enjoyed around the world. From our balcony we looked down on the town of Sorrento, the Gulf of Naples, and Mt. Vesuvius in the background. Spectacular any time of the day. 2) Clean! Again, this may be the cleanest hotel...

Visited on the 12th of September 2016 first impressions were lovely nice frontage and clean the girls on reception were very pleasant and very helpful with everything we asked about , we booked our holiday with Thomson I had read that Thomson holidays book rooms over the entrance of hotel and not the bay views I emailed the hotel and...

The hotel is medium size with recent investment in the stunning infinity pool with a great but distant view across Sorrento town, the bay of Naples and to Vesuvius. Pool activates spa bubbles and cascade from time to time, big enough for some swimming but mostly to dip in and look to the Volcano. Overall hard to beat the pool...

From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a favourable experience. The quiet professional gentleman on the reception explained clearly all we needed to know and then showed us to our room. We had a sea view which was wonderful. Our balcony was large overlooking the new infinity pool. The atmosphere was relaxing and only the...

We had a short break in Sorrento staying at the Grand Hotel Due Golfi. We both loved it. The hotel was spotless, the staff both helpful and charming. We ate in the hotel in the evening. The food was good and reasonably priced.

Not cheap, but represents excellent value in an expensive area.Make sure to book poolside room. Lovely location in hills overlooking sorrento. Free shuttle bus into the town, or pleasant walk down.Great outside area by infinity pool with loungers, comfortable sofas and outside restaurant. Very nice and reasonably priced food. Reception will also recommend local country restaurants who will collect and return you...

This was our seventh (or possibly eighth) visit to the Hotel Due Golfi. Whilst much has now changed with the introduction of the infinity pool and with changes to the restaurant menus and Gala nights, these are all improvements to what was already an excellent hotel. What makes the hotel special? Quite simply the staff from the cleaning ladies through...
