Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and excellent food & bar. Loved this place. I understand the need for people to be let back into the property when it’s late at night, but would be nice to be able to step into the first set of doors, and have the second one be unlocked by a member of staff as had to wait a few minutes, which isn’t a problem, but would be nice. :)

I like to give a fair review. This was a stay of two halves. The room was small but well appointed. It was a single room with a single bed. The room was clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The location is very good and the staff are professional and friendly. However clearly no one is checking the amenities in the room in advance of guests arriving. There was no hot water in the shower. The TV was not working. The rooms and amenities should be cheked. I notes ny issues to reception. No offer of a discount or refund was offered.

My two cousins and I stayed at Brogan’s B & B on May 10, 2022. Room 11 was in disrepair. The blinds wouldn’t open or close or lift up, so I had to gather them up to access the window latch (which was also broken) in order to open the window. The shower valve wouldn’t move at all, so I couldn’t take a shower. The toilet seat was only attached by one bolt so it slid around when used. Room 6 had issues with their toilet not flushing properly. The breakfast was a very modest continental style. Every other b & b we stayed in served a plentiful breakfast, including yogurt, fresh fruit, homemade breads, cereals and hot breakfast choices. I have to commend the reception staff for being responsive to my comments when mentioned the morning we checked out . They were very apologetic and appreciated being told so that they could address the necessary repairs. I had stayed here 15 years ago with friends and had a satisfactory accommodation.

We recently booked a number of rooms in Brogans to celebrate Day 2 of our wedding. The accommodation was perfect and the breakfast the next morning was simply delicious. The rates are very reasonable and the location is in the centre of Trim, making it a perfect place to stay. Their receptionist Alex was so friendly at welcoming our guests and arranging breakfast the next morning so we could all eat together. Highly recommend Brogans, and look forward to staying again.

I was lucky enough to perform here with my band The Walkeleles. We had a fantastic night! Staff were wonderful! Set menu was delicious and a bargain! The young barman who looked after us at our residents bar "after show party" was so friendly and professional - even though I'm sure he was dying to go home (thanks to his Dad for allowing the late pick up!) Breakfast was delicious too and just the soakage we needed! We'll be back....if you'll have us 😜👏

Stayed overnight in Brogans in Trim for my nieces birthday, staff were friendly and quick service at the bar. Room was basic but ideal for us, very clean. The breakfast next day was excellent, freshly cook, great place to have a party.

We had a lovely stay at Brogans, shame it was short as we were attending a wedding nearby. Brogans staff are fantastic, wonderful receptionist who was very helpful and the lady in the bar on the Sunday morning was very friendly and looked after us really well. One downside is the skylight above the bed which has no blind, as soon as it got light we were woken up. We'll definitely return to Brogans as we'd have liked to stay longer this time, it's a great little hotel with plenty of good atmosphere.

I’ve stayed in Brogans a few times now over the past couple of years. It’s a very charming town house with a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are clean and warm and very reasonably priced. The staff are very accommodating and efficient and will take time to have a chat. It’s like a home away from home and I’m already looking forward to my next stay ☺️.
