Went to Brogans recently with friends for lunch. We had eaten there previously but it is was closed for quite some time. It had a good reputation in the past and was excited that it had reopened under new management. However we were very disappointed. The food was not good. While I can't fault the service the quality of what...

We dropped in for three quick lattes. Friendly staff who did not mind we weren't eating or drinking pints. Roaring fire, great atmosphere. 9.00 for three lattes. Great to see reopened once again. Complete mix of clients young and old. Food that was bought out looked delicious, can't wait to try it on our next visit.

We stayed here in March 2013. When we got to the B&B we were told that they had given our booking away as we were so late even though we arrived at 7.30. The woman at recepetion then went up to the room to check, came back down and said that the person seemed to have left and we could...

Stayed here our first night. Unfortunately it was a Friday. The bar generated a lot of late night noise, room was cold and a little worn. Breakfast was good with farm fresh eggs. Our friends stayed at the Castle Arch hotel for about the same rate and had a much better room.

We stayed here for one night while in Trim. The room was fine, with the exception that we couldn't get the hot water going in the morning. Since we were only staying one night, this wasn't a problem for us. Otherwise, it was a great deal and in a good location for exploring Trim. Notes on visiting Trim: Definitely be...

I had a bad experience in this Guesthouse. I found the room very cold, even though I mentioned this on check-in. There was also no spare quilt in the wardrobe. The phone didn't work in the room, the tap in the bathroom also didn't work. Breakfast was good but I checked out really early as I didn't find the room...

This is a great place to stay in Trim. The staff are very friendly, homely atmosphere, good bar, great breakfast and great food generally in the restaurant. It's child friendly and you can't really get better value in Trim. Much better than the hotels in my opinion. One important thing to remember - ask for a room in the courtyard....
