In these challenging times, I along with a few friends decided to brave it for a pre-Christmas night out and it was worth it. Evening dinner in the Castle Arch Hotel with a couple of friends was just the ticket. Had to book in but was understandable due to the nightmare that is Covid19 but you wouldn't think it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Had the Tomahawk steak, it was cooked to perfection. I can't pick out just one member of staff for special praise as they all deserve equal praise as the hotel was rather busy but we weren't rushed. Verdict: 10/10, a must visit

Fab food and service. Fantastic service from Manager Sara again. She is a gem. Always busy but always has time for you and makes the visit very easy during Covid. Soup and vol au vent fantastic. Gas for the draught should be looked at.

The hotel is located in a quiet location in the historic town of Trim. With links to The Duke of Wellington and a massive medieval castle it has lots to explore. The town has lots of great pubs and a few restaurants. The hotel restaurant is also good and not over priced. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Nothing seems to much trouble for them. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I've visited many hotels in Ireland and the Castle Arch provides one of the best breakfasts I've had. All items are good quality and plentiful. During the covid restrictions it is all table service so be sure to ask for all the items you want to save the staff having to make many trips. Not that they seem to mind as they were always cheery and helpful. Parking your car is no issue either as it has a spacious car park. I always finish by asking myself will I stay again. In this hotel I rush back as it is one of our favorites. I'm looking forward to my next stay with breakfast.

The hotel is nicely situated and only a small walk from trim town, the deal we got was excellent value and it included an evening meal and breakfast. Staff were nice and friendly, room was basic but clean with a shower that took alot of working out...not sure why they can't leave these things simple anymore 🤣🤣

We staryed here for 2 nights the start of Sept midweek. It was a very plesant stay with very helpful staff in the hotel, bar & resturant. We had food on the first night which was very nice. The breakfasts were delicous with quality ingredients. I recomend the full Irish. The only negative was the Wifi in our room 118 which was quite poor. I would have pointed it out to the receptionest but I was able to get by with using my phone as a hotspot. We are looking forward to returning again.
