Appaling . Went to the fawlty towers dining experience there . Arrived early and went to bar at reception for a drink before . A lot of people waiting to be served , 3 staff , 2 doing unnecessary tasks and 1 serving . She was so rude , shouting “who’s next” as she served . No smile , apology or pleasantness just outright rude . Got a pint of carlsbery / was as so flat a deflated balloon . Went to the golf club for the event - a tiny bowl of soup , soggy veg with mains . Staff were like something you’d see in an apocalypse . Menu said tea & coffee served with desert - No tea or coffee served . No cups on table . Charged different prices for drinks at the bar each round . The actors who performed were excellent . Stayed in the hotel a while back in November with my husband. Absolutely beautiful hotel with amazing staff members. Everyone was friendly from beginning to end. Someone who stood out to me was Calin in the swifts bar. He was so attentive and lovely to myself and husband. He’s a credit to this hotel. I had to go to the lady at reception to ask for his name because he really made my day at the bar and was ever so helpful. I will be staying here again.

I got married in a nearby venue which didn't have accommodation, so myself, my husband and our immediate families stayed here for the 3 nights. We had originally booked to stay in the houses, however, the hotel had informed us that the houses were actually not available, so they gave us rooms in the hotel; and I'm glad they did! First off, I could not praise the staff enough!! Extremely courteous, could not be more accommodating for us. They bunked my self and my husband up into two suites. Absolutely fabulous rooms- large two storey rooms with their own sitting room, ideal for a bridal party. Both our familes were very happy with their double/ twin rooms; large and decorated nicely. We ate in the restaurant on the first and last day, again the service was top-notch with good food. I look forward to returning here and would highly recommend. …

One of the most overrated hotels I have ever stayed in. From start to finish this hotel was faulty towers. Firstly, very difficult for them to even take a booking because the phone system is awful. I kept being transferred to people that could not help me and then they would transfer me to someone else. We had to keep reminding the staff that we ordered tea and coffee…then we were given take away cups instead of actual cups or mugs. We got served very poor quality food. Sandwiches were sub standard. We were not allowed use the residents bar because there was a wedding on. When we asked if it was possible to get a drink in the lobby, they were very rude about it and told us no. Breakfast was terrible too. No cups on the table. We I asked I was met by a grunt and no apology. I think anyone staying in a hotel should be treated like a guest and we felt like we were a burden on the knightsbrook. The was one positive - a lady at reception was very helpful. Fabulous hotel which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had an amazing Room which was spacious and hotel very clean throughout. Breakfast had a great selection, restaurant food was great. The only negative experience I had was when ordering room service the lady said to our colleague ‘I can’t understand her’ which I did not think was vey professional. Overall an amazing hotel and have already booked for our next trip.

Just back from a wonderful stay at Knightsbrook. My husband and I had a one night stay before our baby is due. Staff were very friendly and the room was really spacious with everything we needed. Food was fantastic, we had afternoon tea, 3 course meal in the terrace lounge and breakfast. I needed gluten free food and there was no issues for any of our meals. Beautiful hotel, we will for sure come back again.
