Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in the pods as we attended a family wedding nearby. Pods were clean and comfortable. We didn't try out the shower. But everything seemed in working order. Felt it's a little overpriced for what it is, but, location was ideal to our needs, continental breakfast included which was okay, but not to my taste, everything was high fibre which is not agreeable to my constitution, but, that's a personal taste. The breakfast most definitely let's this glamping pod down. Otherwise it was fine..

Having stayed in a couple of hotels in the area we fancied a change and booked one of the cabins/pods. Cosy and warm with everything the February storms had to throw at us. Will definitely be back when the weather gets better. I had never stayed in a cabin / pod before but after doing it I can't honestly see the point in booking a hotel

Owners were lovely and chatty. the white birds were class. You can tell the owners love there gardening and little animals .
We got food delivery from Kells. Bins and bottles for cigarettes were located at the cabins which is great. Only fault is you can't regulate the temp on hot tub. but overall we had fun and would reccomend!!

Stayed here for a friends wedding in Clonabreeny house. Close to the hotel, family gave us a lift down. Room looked like it had never been used, everything was perfect. Lovely breakfast the next morning. Deserving of 5 stars. Would recommend very favourably.

Stayed here for a wedding in Clonabreany House. We asked if we could check in early and it wasn’t a problem. We had an en-suite room which was sparkling clean. Breakfast was perfectly cooked. The owner then dropped us to pick up our car. Can not recommend this place highly enough.

I stayed here for a wedding in the nearby Clonabreeny House and I would highly recommend this B&B. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and the room itself was spotless. The breakfast the next morning was better than you’d get in any hotel…freshly cooked with more than you could eat. The owners even offered to drop us down to the hotel for our car the next day.

Stayed here while at a wedding recently. The hosts were perfect, So friendly and helpful. The room was large and very clean, with a perfect en-suite. The B&B was in a nice quiet setting with lovely gardens and peaceful surroundings. The breakfast was excellent with everything you could want, and vegetarians are catered for. Compliments to the chef! Also the coffee was just delicious, a perfect pick-me-up after the night before. This is the first time we have stayed in a B&B and we just loved it, it was more personal than a hotel, and all our needs were catered for, nothing was an issue. I would recommend anyone going to a wedding nearby or just passing through to book in here. It is value for money, but the best part is, you are made to feel welcome. A real home from home!

Edita was such a nice woman. I feel bad because we arrived later than planned and were a bit zoned when we met from a long day of driving, but she showed us around and recommended a place to eat in town where we had an excellent dinner. In the morning we had a very lovely breakfast with the best puddings I had anywhere. She talked about the house and how her husband had done all the work himself and took a great deal of pride in it, which was well-deserved as it is just lovely. There are so many birds here! I don't think we heard birds like we did anywhere else in Ireland! We were only there for a blink but wish it could have been longer as it was just a gorgeous area and a really lovely place. Here's hoping we can come back again!

This b&b was perfect for us when we attended a wedding at Clonabreeny just 10 mins drive from the venue. The room was spacious with lovely decor and a large en-suite. Breakfast ..brown bread and a freshly made Irish fry up was delicious and the owners chatted about the locality with us. We can understand why so many love it. We recommend Country Cottage highly!!
