We had a room at Europa which had a big balcony overlooking the stunning sandy beach. This certainly is position A. The room was clean and modern with a good bathroom. The children loved the pool and the beach bar is amazing, so beautiful and the perfect place for a cocktail whilst watching the sun set. Highly recommended.

This was our second stay here, and the first time was in mid summer and we had no complaints. This time however was on 5 October. We paid 70 euro for the night. I went to shower in the morning around 0900 and there was no hot water. My husband went to reception to inform them. The response was that... More

Have stayed two years on a row now and will probably be back again. Lovely, affordable and well located apartments. Bathrooms are a bit basic but as expected for Greece. All staff are lovely. Beach locations is the best in Paleochora

Aug 14 was our second stay here, the 1st was Oct 2009. We booked last minute so were lucky to get the only available room. This was on the ground floor & although the patio faced the hotel next door it did have a view of the beach with the sea in the distance. The room, albeit small for us,... More

Not much beats the location of Villa Europa where we spent 8 days of our vacation July 2014. Nice spacy rooms, lush garden with a small pool mainly used by children and right next to/on the best beach of Paleochora, yet within walking distance from the cosy town center. It's not a hotel in the traditional sense. We felt more... More

Our group of 3 couples loved our stay at the Villa Marise run by another friendly Aussie! Lovely large white Mediterranean-looking rooms which were quiet, as we were there in the off- peak time. Breakfast down by the beach front was great. We received some useful tips from our host, including dining and the name of an excellent taxi-minibus company who was... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the Europa Villas in mid October. We were looking for a place close to the beach and this was it! We stayed in Room 3 which had a great view of the water and a lovely balcony on which to relax and watch the sunset. The day staff at the desk... More

Excellent location. Very close to the beach. Clean rooms, some with kitchen facilities. Friendly staff. On the quiet side of town which is good. Very short distance to restaurants etc. They only accept cash which is bothersome when you stay more than a few nights. I would propably come back if I should stay in Paleochora.
