Small, comfortable family owned hotel. Stayed here as part of our G Adventures trip. We were on the ground floor with a view of the gardens. Friendly staff. Thought that the charge for doing a small bag of laundry was expensive.
Nice little hotel, clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice view from the second floor. Up and down a couple of hills to get to the centre of town. But the walls between the rooms are paper thin so if you are likely to be disturbed by neighbours who want to talk all night don’t stay here.
A small cozy family owned lodge. Very friendly, clean and breakfast was great! I also had my clothes washed and cleaned. i have absolutely no complaints with this place at all! Stay there and support the locals!! id go back for sure! and... super safe! you get 3 keys to your room 1 for the gate, the door and lock box.
We stayed here as part of our Intrepid group tour, and we really liked the hotel. We had one of the rooms at the front, with plants growing round the balconies, and we were very comfortable. The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was fine. There are also a lot of rooms overlooking the garden, which is very large, and a lovely place to sit. The hotel is a 15-minute walk downhill to the town, and some people took a taxi to get back. It is a very nice town, with a number of restaurants (including Japanese!). On the way down to the town, there is a shopping centre, and we had a couple of good meals in the restaurants there. We had breakfast one of the days we were there, and that was good, and we enjoyed watching hummingbirds feeding outside the window. I would definitely stay there again.…
Don Lucio and the gang were great and give an excellent and friendly service. The beds are confortable and everything works. The location is perfect and at walking distance from downtown Sta Elena, and a few mts from an incredible view.
