Perfect location in Santa Elena with a small-ish double with shared bathroom (private bathroom rooms are much bigger). The highlights include the super friendly and helpful owner, good breakfast, lovely kitchen and living area including garden and able to book all tours from here which are competitive prices and the owner offers full refunds if the weather is bad. Highly...

We stayed at Cabinas El Pueblo for two nights. Everything was perfect! The owners are nice and helpfull. Wonderful atmosphere! Simple rooms, but clean and nice, view and terrace, funny shower :), but hot water was ok. Breakfast was simple but delicious!, local coffee! (we got coffee pack when checked out), fresh juice!, home made pancakes... Would I go again?...

Best deal in town. Hotel is located walking distance to downtown Santa Elena and only a 10 min ride to all activities. Room was very clean and well sized. TV even had HBO to watch Game of Thrones. As an added bonus there is a sloth that calls the wooded area across the street home. We got to see her...

Cheapest place we stayed on this holiday, but one of the best. This was the first place we stayed at in Costa Rica which did not seem over priced. We arrived in early afternoon and were shown to our room by the helpful reception staff who gave us a map of sights and explained bus times to national park etc....

It is a cosy place as it's in out of the main town. Quite place to stay and it's clean. Kitchen is big and it has loads of appliance. Coffee and tea is free all day. Wifi is good and it include a basic breakfast. Room is fine and you can have enough. Staff is nice and helpful.

Cosy enough place tucked away behind the main street, although you have to walk behind Amigos Bar which seems to draw a lot of delinquents late at night. Stayed in a private room which was small and out dated but clean, same for the bathroom, shower was warm but weak. Good sized kitchen with all the utensils and nice common...

Great stay. We enjoyed the rooms, the location, the communal kitchen, the outdoor area... virtually everything. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful, the free coffee from their own plantation is a nice treat. Breakfast is included and very tasty, I wish we could have stayed longer.

They had everything here that I needed, plus the friendly faces to suggest places to go, book tours, and help out whenever I had any questions. They helped book a ziplining tour as well as a night walk, both of which were very memorable experiences! The staff was friendly, the rooms clean, and breakfast was simple, but still everything I...
