I had a wonderful experience staying here. They were very accommodating. The view is breathtaking. The food was tasty and the presentation was excellent. The breakfast had a wide spread of food.We loved the rooftop. The staff was overall helpful. Would highly recommend.
I booked a suite room 24 JULY to spend one night as a friend too recommended this hotel. On arrival the reception was warm and the views from the room were absolutely fascinating. Food wasn't that great. Dinner served was average by SL standards. However the real shocker was to follow. Room did not have hot water. When informed the housekeeping came to the room and checked and said they will send the maintenance to look into it, but nobody followed up despite being personally informing the Manager too. No alternate room arrangement was offered either. When the bill was to be settled I did bring it to their notice that we were inconvenienced due to lack of hot water and they could not sell the room at the price they initially offered the response from the manager was shocking. Finally with reluctance they offered a discount. Never offered an apology or regret. Breakfast was very poor too.…
I've heard about this hotel quite a few times as it's quite popular for the view it offers. I spent a quick weekend getaway here and it was truly relaxing. I booked the suite, because it's well known for it's birds eye view. I absolutely loved the view. The staff were very attentive and the hospitality overall was great! Location is a few minutes away from Galle fort, so that was quite convenient. The food choices were great! I think this was the only hotel which had such a variety of a breakfast cuisine. The menu amazed me! If I were to touch on a downside, I feel like the 'popular' suite sun-bed like chairs, need upgrading as they seem worn out. Other than that my stay was quite memorable all thanks to the ambiance and attentive staff at Levels.
The best hotel I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka personally. Been here for about 2 weeks, their hotel food is really good, rooms are impressive and the size of the toilet was huge. Would recommend to book here for a stay if you are in this area, short tuk tuk ride to the beaches. Just get the hotel reception to book for you and it’s all covered. Jungle beach just a walk there and short distance from the hotel. Oh yea, the TV even has Netflix, the only one that had access to smart TV in our entire trip. Great service from Ronald and the rest of the crew as well, enjoyed the hospitality and our stay there.
Beautiful place hidden on the top of the hill with fascinating view. 10 mins walk to hidden Jungle Beach. Great breakfast options, and amazing staff. Manager was truly helpful during our stay with arranging everything we needed, starting from transportation to different trips and advices what to visit.
I stayed here for a week in January 2022. It is situated high on Rumassala near the Japanese Peace Pagoda and Jungle Beach. The views are spectacular and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast is cooked to order rather than buffet style and Sri Lankan breakfast is available to order the night before. You may have difficulty in getting a tuk tuk to take you up the hill, but we found a great guy who was friendly and reliable. He lived in the nearby village, his name is Iranga and he can be contacted by whatsapp +94 77 683 9075
We stayed here for 2 weeks. The location in the jungle was fantastic and only a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride away from Unawatuna or Galle and a short walk to Jungle beach. Roland and his team were very good, nothing was too much trouble. Only 2 small criticisms, the place is looking a little weary and could do with a lick of paint and it does need a deep clean (shower screens for example) I only say this as we liked the place so much and a couple of small improvements would take it from great to excellent
We spent two fabulous weeks here - Roland and his wonderful team were at our beckoned call if we required anything. Our suite overlooked the Indian Ocean and the beautiful pool. This boutique hotel is set in the hills amidst the jungle where you could hear all the jungle noises and watch the cheeky monkeys play. Just a 10 minute tuk tuk ride into the famous Unawatuna beach or Galle Fort and just a short walk down to jungle beach. The most comfiest of beds pillows, and Egyptian cotton bedding plus a smart TV with the bonus of Netflix. Good breakfast served in the morning too - my favourite was The Fruit platter, smashed avocado and poached eggs on toast and fresh watermelon smoothies - we will definitely be back again - very sad to leave
We had a booking on this hotel and it was 2.30pm when we arrived to the hotel for lunch. We signed the documents and direct went for lunch without asking room key. It was around 3pm when we came back from lunch and they said still the room is not ready yet and ask us to wait in the pool area. They we have waited one hour and asked for the room key. Still not ready yet. There were 2 more coupls and they also had the same issue. It was around 6pm when we get our room keys and almost best part of the trip is ruined due to their negligence. They didn't even inform this prior attending to the hotel. Room and the location was nice and later they sent a fruit bucket also to apologise for the delay. They had the same menu for lunch and dinner and the food portion is not sufficient and food variety is low. Breakfast is ok. …
I checked in late, but informed my time of arrival beforehand. The staff were very friendly and helped me and my girlfriend to my room the moment I got there. The room had one of the most beautiful views of Galle that I have ever seen and this is coming from someone who has visited and lived in Galle. The room and the toilet was very spacious. We got the rooms on BB basis, they offered to send food to the rooms but we preferred to head out and stretch out for a bit, the view from the place that they served breakfast was unreal. They let us eat under an umbrella outside and we get the view of the ocean while eating. The food is clean and they got some really nice options. My girlfriend is a huge fan of string hoppers and their food did her justice. The best part about this place is, "Jungle Beach" is just a 10 min walk and its probably one of the best and cleanest beaches in Galle. Highly recommended for snorkelling. I would only advice you to go on a week day, can get crowded.…
