If you want To eat seafoods, do not hesitate this restaurant is for you. We went here twice and our waiter was Shaan. I recommend strongly him, he is able To fulfill all your request. Seafoods are excellent.

We did not stay at the hotel but we used the sun beds here. The staff asked us like four times if we want to eat lunch and even woke me as a was sleeping to ask if we wanted to eat lunch. Very unprofessional. We are not going back there.

The seafood at Sunny Restaurant was delicious. They prepared mashed potatoes for me instead of rice and it was delicious. The staff is just incredibly friendly, especially one guy but unfortunately I forgot his name. He was very nice and always so "speed" and doing the utmost for customers. Thanks again !

I was looking for the famous Sri Lankan mud crabs, when I came across Sunny Beach Hotel. They didn't have the mud crabs, but the other spikey crab was just as good! Had them to cook it with spices and it was served with rice. All for 1200lrp! Also ordered their mixed seafood soup which was average but with really...

We arrived in Unawatuna late one evening and hadn't booked so needed somewhere to stay last minute. Being one of the only places open, sunny beach ripped us off by charging 2500 rupees for us to stay (fair enough, they were one of the only places open and could do this) however the room was the most expensive we've paid...

Just near the Unawatuna beach. Different rooms with different prices. Ask them all. Also restaurant. Staff are lazy. Ask owner directly when you meed something. He is little bit pushy but nice guy. Average breakfast may include the price.

We just stopped to drink a coca cola, and we did not ask the price, because it's 100rs in every place. The waiter was very rude and the coke was 200rs. Don't go to this place... we don't do it neither.......

Dont look at the photos in the meny. The food you get is something else. Clubsandwich was only for quarts. No chips and other things that shows on the photo .Soup noodles was uneatable. The waiter was friendy but did not understand our complaits. "Thats is just a picture " washi comment. The tree brothers Lyxell, one a profesional chef.

There are holes on the walls, to let air pass through... except the bugs come in quite easily (we found 2 cockroaches in 3 nights). The staff is not very nice and quite pushy to eat at their restaurant (which we did not, only breakfast). You have to pay in advance (only time we did that in Sri Lanka). The...

Although we did not stay in the hotel, i must say my friends and i were really impressed and pleased by the way we were treated in our visit to the restaurant area. After the first night going there, we just decided to go there almost every night of our visit in Unawatuna. The first night the staff members did...
