The food and coffee are average but with decent prices for the location. However the speed of service is beyond unacceptable. Once seated it takes on average 10 minutes for someone to even come take an order. Our first time we ate here our food came out before our coffees did.

Pros: Good breakfast and coffee Comfortable bed Clean and basic large rooms (we had downstairs nonAC room). Very close to beach Cons: Be sure of your dates, if you decide you want to change you will have to pay extra as Sunil charges by the night so the longer you stay the cheaper you get it. We paid an additional...

We went everyday for breakfast, lunch, snacks or just a coffee. Great coffee and the cakes are amazing! Lovely seating area and very relaxing. Prices are similar to all of the other cafes and restaurants. Across the road from the beach.

We found ourselves here quite often. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Calm and fresh environment. We craved some good deserts and a good espresso, and this is the place to really enjoy both in a quite garden.

This was one of our favorite stays in Sri Lanka!! The place was beautifully decorated, with a peaceful garden and a really homey feel... AND only a few meters walk to the beach! The staff were incredibly welcoming (especially the Dutch owner) and always very helpful. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable and the private balcony was a...

My fiancee and I stayed at Sunils for 3 days in March 2016 and absolutely loved it. It is a beautiful garden oasis, so peaceful and relaxing. The homemade cakes are delicious and the service is wonderful.. warm, friendly and not pushy at all. Couldn't recommend it enough.
