I have been in Ayana in March as a backpacker. Cosy, big rooms for a very cheap price. Helpful staff, and very yummie sri lankan food. But oc, the best part of the hotel is the beach, is not the main one thus very calm and isolated. I loved it, thank you very much again!

We enjoyed our time in Ayana beach hotel a lot with funny staffs. The fully equiped karaoke made our night memorable. Early in the morning, we went snorkeling and wait for turtles to come which is a cool thing to do here. Authentic Sri Lankan foods here is really tasty. We will come again

I stayed at Ayana Beach Hotel for a week, way longer than i was intending to but the staff, location and food made me want to never leave. The karaoke bar is great fun too, such a great addition to the place, especially seeing as there is a lack of this type of thing in sri lanka. made some great memories there. The main beach is a 2 - 5 minute walk away but they also have a small beach with no crowds right on their doorstep. overall super happy!

Had an amazing stay with Ayana Beach Hotel. The stay were so lovely, bending over backwards to help us with everything we needed and going the extra mile. The location was great, very close to a private beach and then the main beach. Food was lovely: locally sourced and freshly cooked. Next to the Hotel they have their own Karaoke Bar, which was alot of fun, especially for a dance and a singsong. Thank you Ayana for looking after us! :)

We booked Ayana for a group of us visiting unawatuna and occupied 3 family rooms. One room was decent, the other two were quite dismal. We didn't receive blankets, when we did they were stained. The toilet had a mouldy shower head, the water was cold and trickled through. Wet didn't receive towels either, when we enquired we received baby blankets.. The lock on the main door of the other room didn't work, they had one mosquito net and the other 3 were bare. The windows didn't close all the way so there were mosquitoes entering the room. On a positive note, the Aircon worked really well and we had easy access to the beach across the road.
