We stayed at Bwana Tembo for 4 nights. The game drive with Davide was phantastic. The gate is only 10 minutes drive away. The staff is very kind and helpful, the even organize a driver for our trip to Fort Portal. The tents are comfortable and romantic. At night it cools down. The restaurant area is very cozy. The italian...

As I retired each night at Bweno Tembo Lodge, this was my thought - can we stay just one more night! The food is the best by far in any place I have been in Africa. When I asked Davide, about his research before building Bweno with his brother he said they found that people want three things - a...

Davide and his staff are lovely and helpful. The tent that I stayed in was was clean and comfortable. The best part of the day however, was the food and in particular the evening dinners. Homemade Italian pasta and steaks were divine..... I found myself intentionally fasting during the day to save room for their wonderful food - the memories...

We intended to stay for 1 night in Bwana Tembo and ended up staying for 3! It was very difficult to leave the warm hospitality of Davide, Arianna and the very attentive staff of Bwana Tembo. The food was excellent (handmade pasta, fresh bread, etc.), the cottages were very tastefully appointed, the views were spectacular and the lodge was only...

What a gem hidden at the upper part of Murchison national park! We have always stayed on the southern side but with the road to Gulu now done it's actually about the same time going up and staying on the side where you see so much more animal life than in the south. Bwana tembo tented camp is the perfect...

Nice tents, excellent food, quiet surroundings and proximity from the park makes this small lodge a great stop for a few nights. Tasteful tented accomodation with decent light (rare in Africa) ensuite showers and a terrace for a sunset drink. Would definitely return!

Best location around the park (only 5 minutes away from the elephants, if they are not with you in the camp ^^), best food, best people ... clean and well-maintened ... what else? Living here in Uganda and going to the park every month, I tried all the lodges and I highly recommand this one.

Completely eco-friendly, this safari camp gets top rating for its FOOD! Home-made pasta and melt-in-your mouth meat and desserts are hard to find in this part of Africa. The accommodations are clean and well-maintained. So close to the game park entrance makes traveling in the area exciting!
