Our room at Savoy Palmz was the worst hotel experience we have had in Cameroon. The room stank of chemicals and when the aircon was on, chemicals were being released from this on a time-release system, making it difficult to breath at times. Without the aircon, the room was sweltering hot and we asked for a fan and they did...

Stayed at Savoy Palmz for a month, this is one of the best hotels in Cameroon. It measures up to international standards. Very elaborately decorated, very clean, polite staff, the only hotel in the region with a movie theater, an indoor pool and a rooftop penthouse. You can tell that the owners are very keen on maintenance and constant renovation....

I have only been in Cameroon for 4 months but this the best I have seen here. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The AC, wifi and WC all worked well. The decor was a little busy and leaning towards the garish, but this is Cameroon. The service was outstanding. The afternoon reception gal was very helpful and I...

I have been living in Africa for the last five years, I have stayed in hotels in big and small cities. This was a pleasent stay in a nice clean hotel, with big clean rooms. For those who like to sleep well this is a good option. The personnel is friendly and bilingual, you can see the beach and mount...

I don't want to make this out to be a bad review because I think it was the best hotel in the area. However, It is fair that anyone thinking about going knows what they are getting into. The rooms were dank and had a mildew type smell. My guess would be they turn off the A/C when the room...

The service is very good and they speak both French and English. The indoor pool is nice but the water is cold. The rooftop lounge is great for watching the big football (soccer) games. The gym is large and very well equipped. There are three sitting areas for eating but only one kitchen. The food is good but it takes...

The hotel is clean. The staff is nice. Make sure you give tips because the would be even nicer. The swimming pool is tranquil. The is no elevators but the stairs are easy to go up, step. The food is good. If they don't have fresh veggies for you they will tell you. Wonderful place, nice view of the palms...

The hotel is about 8 years old but decently maintained for Africa. The feel is more what you would expect at a ski resort (carpeting, wooden and stone beams) than by the beach, but service and facilities are very good. WIFI was very fast one day and not working the second day but they set me up with slow cable...

Need for better ventilation and air-conditioning of the hotel. The air as one enters the lobby is not very welcoming. The rooms are desirable and neat.

We stayed at Savoy Palmz for 2 days following our wedding. We were immediately wowed by the quality and sophisatication of the entrance and hallway. Then we got to the rooms - nothing to envy your standard 4 star hotel in Europe-nice, comfortable bed, warmly decorated rooms, excellent air conditioning and spacious bathroom with a reliable high pressure shower over...
