This whole adventure and lodge was amazing, when it is some 70kms into the jungle, but excellent standard. We booked 3 day, 2 night package, after having also done tour on Danum Valley. Our trekking experiences were just fantastic, especially as our guide, Azmil, was so terrific. As we were keen and eager, we saw almost everything we wanted, except...

Coming from the Borneo Nature Lodge, the accommodations and food quality and service at the Rainforest Lodge was a quantum improvement. Only the lack of a/c and dim lighting in the rooms were drawbacks (I requested a floor fan, which was of great help in getting to sleep and staying asleep in the high humidity of the rainforest). And workable...

We booked the 3 days 2 nights package and stayed in the deluxe room category facing the Danum River. The room was very nice and specious with an outdoor jacuzzi in the balcony. The resort offers various activities all conducted by in-house professional guides. Activities include: jungle walks, night safari and a canopy walk.It is so nice to return from...

We stayed at the Borneo Rainforest Lodge for two nights, three days and had the most wonderful time. Our guide, Jeff, really made this an extra special experience for us. We were in Malaysia for three weeks and had a number of guides during our trip but Jeff was by far the best. Hs knowledge was incredible, he was so...

Arrived here at the offices of the Borneo Rainforest Lodge in Lahad Datu after a long drive from The Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge (See separate review). You actually check in here and receive a welcoming drink while you are assigned a driver and your luggage is loaded in to one of the many 4WD vehicles. Our driver for the journey was...

Our arrival at the lodge didn't start particularly well with a rather cool greeting from our allocated guide. However, in other respects our stay was a very positive one. Very helpful staff, good food with a wide choice in the buffet restaurant and excellent wildlife viewing. Because my wife has limited mobility, the lodge made a special effort to help...

Wow, this place was utterly amazing. After a bumpy 2 hour journey (it's not that bad) through the jungle, when you finally reach the lodge you feel like you've gone back in time thousands of years. You're greeted with a welcome drink and looked after impeccably by the staff. The surroundings are simply breathtaking and it has very much been...

After travelling for 15 days round Sabah, this hotel was a great place to finish the trip. Our group stayed here for 3 nights, three and a half days. We did a lot of bird watching, and our guide was excellent. If he did not know something, he would find the answer from his colleagues. Meals were amazing buffets -...

We stayed at Borneo Rainforest Lodge at the end of April as part of a tour around Borneo. We were there for four nights and enjoyed it very much although there was less wildlife than I had hoped for. We did see orangutans in their natural habitat and red leaf monkeys, slow loris and pit vipers that we hadn't encountered...

William and Kate have visited here, so that's a good indication. The rooms are lovely, large, well serviced and clean. The restaurant food was the best we had in 3 weeks in Borneo. Thoroughly recommended......
