This park was amazing with beautiful surroundings on the edge of a creek. Wildlife galore and lovely walking spots. Lovely amenities, close to everything the gem fields has to offer and management couldn't help more.

Our family spent 4 nights at the park while exploring the Rubyvale area for the first time. Terry and Vicki were welcoming and gave good advice about fossicking and the local attractions. We found the amenities clean tidy and there was always plenty of hot water. The TV area and free wifi allowed my wife and the 2 teenage boys...

Our two bedroom unit was very comfortable. With 4 adults we had plenty of room, and the cabin was set up with everything needed. Washing machine, dryer and very pleasant surrounds. Terry is very helpful, and the caravaners, big rigs and all have a place to park. Would recommend this park for any length of stay.Very, very clean, and central to everything.

Upon arriving, Terry greeted us with a smile and enthusiasm for our stay. Within 30 minutes though it became apparent that Terry DOES NOT like kids and is a nasty old man. He asked that my kids 'don't dig up his driveway'; hey Terry, it's a dirt mess that could do with improving! While rolling my awning up, grumpy old...

I was met with a friendly hand shake and a great smile. And left with new found friends and a personal space for my stay next year. Terry showed me around and even helped me reverse my van ( I have never reversed the van before, I always find a drive through so "right hand down " was all new...

We stayed at Gemseekers Caravan Park on a Friday night. Opted for a cabin instead of putting the tent up because of the pouring rain. Terry was courteous and friendly and personally showed us up to the cabin, which was very clean and comfy! The property is well cared for and was very quiet. It is within easy walking distance...

We bought our camper and stayed 3 nights. Hosts were great and nothing was a problem. Huge fire pit where the whole camp got together every night. Amenities were very clean. Very short walk to the hotel for a great meal and a cold drink. Will definitely come back.

Rubyvale is a short drive (17km) off the main highway west of Emerald, Queensland and is a neighbour to Sapphire. It is worth the look around the quiet village. There are no rubies in Rubyvale however there are Sapphires. Many gem stores can be visited. Kids, and big kids too, can have a bit of a fossick. The caravan park...
