We stayed for one night on our way home from a few nights in the Highlands. Beautiful guest house, with lovely decor. The room was spacious and very comfortable bed. The shower was a good size, unlike most B&Bs, and was not cramped at all. There is also on-site parking. Covid measures were seen all around and all guidelines were clearly being followed. There’s plenty breakfast choices, all made to order. We opted for waffles with fruit and the smoked salmon, spinach with a poached egg. Both were delicious. Overall a very pleasant stay, and we felt welcomed and looked after the whole time. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in this area.

This was a rearranged break due to the government restrictions on travel. We we’re lucky enough to get our four day break at this wonderful guest house. On arrival we were greeted by our host and shown to our room (5) on the ground floor. The room was well laid out and under normal circumstances we would have been provided the enhancements however due to restrictions certain items had been removed. To make the experience as best as possible our host explained that what ever you want or need please ask (pot of tea/coffee, toiletries and fresh towels) Breakfast was included and was first class. We were offered a full range of hot and cold food every morning. The restrictions presented difficulties in getting an evening meal due to restaurants closing by 18:00hrs, we found a nice takeout and our host laid out two spaces in the dining room for us to eat our food. On our two free days we asked for help in finding some good places to see wildlife, we were not disappointed by the advice. We had an awesome time and after spending a long day walking to come back to a hot shower and comfortable bed and a hearty breakfast every day. We would return without any hesitation if in the area again. Thank you. An extra thank you, as I left my rain coat behind which was posted on to me.

My partner and I booked the Eagle View Guest House as an overnight stop on our way further North because of the great rating it has received. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by our host and shown round the guest sitting room and directed to the breakfast room before being shown to our room. Our room was immaculate, tastefully decorated with an en suite bathroom which had a roll-top bath. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic! Laid out was fruit juice & water, ham & cheese, yogurt & pineapple, a selection of cereals & muesli as well as bread for toasting with honey & jams. As well as helping ourselves to this selection we could also order cooked options and we both went for a full Scottish breakfast with a pot of tea which set us up for our adventure that day. I could not recommend this guest house highly enough.

Stayed for two nights on business and was very impressed by the location, staff and place itself. Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and work hard to ensure their guests enjoy their stay. Impeccably clean and providing all the necessary ingredients for a comfortable stay, I would happily recommend it to others.

Excellent location and the hostess very friendly and helpful. Rooms beautifully decorated and comfortable. One issue was the toilet didn’t flush maybe due to the water pressure in the upstairs rooms and the curtain didn’t close properly which let the light in (nothing major) Breakfast lots of choice and cooked well just would advise to use locally sourced Products. Loved the living room and choice of board games. Thank you for a lovely stay
