We had such a lovely overnight stay with Dan and Lucy at Crubenbeg House. a great pit stop on a journey north. Our room was very comfortable. We chose the slightly cheaper room with separate bathroom but it was right across the hallway and no problem at all. We chose to have dinner at the guest house and were served a wonderful dinner, with such lovely hosting by Dan and Lucy. We even enjoyed a drink in the lounge afterwards. A very homely place. Dan and Lucy were very accommodating of dietary requirements and served us a brilliant 2 course breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend this very friendly and welcoming place to stay.

Dan and Lucy are excellent hosts. I stayed there as a solo traveller for a few nights' break from the city and had a really relaxing stay. Breakfast is amazing with lots of lovely things to choose from (I recommend the porridge with whisky and the bacon pancake stack!) and the dinners really are splendid - always home-made and truly delicious. There are several nice walks right from the front door, with plenty to see and do just a few miles up the road in the car. For those who fancy a day off from sightseeing, or just want to relax after a hike in the mountains, there is a very comfortable guest lounge with lovely views and a great selection of books to read. Dan and Lucy made me feel so much at home and I will be recommending this place widely.

Thank you for your review and so pleased that you managed to feel relaxed on your break from city life. We are glad that you enjoyed the breakfast (whisky porridge and pancake stacks seem to go down well!) and also the evening meals. As you mentioned, there are walks close by with other attractions and walking just a few minutes away by car with lots to see and do including the Centre of Scotland! If you need a break from the City again in the future it would be our pleasure to accommodate you and see you again. Take care - Lucy & Dan

Stayed here for 2 nights and wish it was more. So clean and comfortable, struggled to get out of the most comfortable bed both mornings. The best hospitality and we were made to feel so at home. Couldn’t recommend more, will definitely be back!
