Had a lovely overnight stay. Rooms were clean & pleasant & staff were very helpfull. We had an evening meal which my partner enjoyed, although not much choice for vegetarians. Which i did say to the waitress & she offered to adapt a meal for me, but was disappointed there wasn't much choice. Also upgraded to a sea view room,...

Great value, nice and quiet if you want somewhere away from the busy towns, great bar food, great staff throughout, spotlessly clean... and simply amazing breakfast the next morning. Probably the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. If I had to find fault it would be that our room was too warm! Even with the radiators turned right...

Absolutely loved this weekend stay at the Botany Bay Hotel, the receptionist working on the Friday evening was so lovely, she went out of her way to phone various restaurants to see if there were any tables available for my boyfriend and I, we were lucky enough to catch a table at an Italian restaurant nearby thanks to the receptionists...

Spent 2 nights at the hotel, booked last minute and was made very welcome. Great value for money and the reception staff could not have done more to make me feel welcome. Great kippers for breakfast and lots of choice. Located in Kingsgate over looking the sea, stunning.

Decided to stay at the Botany Bay Hotel on a weekend getaway with the wife. The staff were friendly and rooms very clean with ample amenities. The hotel is right on the doorstep to some white cliffs so makes for a great afternoon walk. Would definitely stay again. Only down side was the noise at 11pm due to a function...

Excellent. We celebrated new years eve at the botany bay, the food was excellent and entertainment great. Unfortunately they only had 1 room left which we took but David was kind enough to find the second couple a room at a nearby hotel and organised a taxi for us. I would imagine it would be lovely in the summer as...

We stayed for three nights as a pre-Christmas break as we would both be working. The room was huge, very comfortable bed, everything we needed. Unfortunately we had just settled in the room when there was a power cut, came back on within 5 minutes or so but went out again. This happened several times so we just went to...

We spent a two-nights stay here and experienced plus-points but also a few negative aspects... which made it overally only an "okay stay". + easy to find + a bit more remote, so plan in a few minutes drive to get to the next bigger towns (but that's what we wanted) + right on the coast = beautiful view +...
