Magnificently sited Inn on River Wye. Comfortable room with all necessary essentials and some luxuries provided and wonderful river view; hardly large enough to swing a kitten, let alone a cat - but just fine for two people for a short stay. Helpful and very pleasant staff; wholesome if basic pub food.

Very friendly staff, we were made very welcome. Excellent food & a good choice of real ales. The walking is great up and down the Wye. Recommend climbing to top of Yat Rock as views are magnificent. You also might see the Perigrin Falcons.

Delightful setting in the picturesque Symonds Yat West, Ye Old Ferrie Inn benefits from a stunning location. The inn is old and quaint as all old buildings are. Our room,(coppett) was spotlessly clean with a view of the river. The en suite is small with just a shower and toilet. The wash basin has to be located in the bedroom....

Perfect setting for a weekend stay, great food, lovely staff and fantastic location, we also had fantastic weather so that made for the perfect stay, we didn't want to leave. It's worth knowing that you need to folllow the signs to symbols yat west as we got lost and ended up on the wrong side of the river. The bedroom...

On the positive the location was outstanding. The Manager was on it!! Ran a tight ship and staff were faultless. Lunch and dinner was very good. However the accommodation and pub in general was tatty and in need of tlc. Not overly welcoming and rooms average not warranting the price we paid. Get the hotel decorated and cleaner and you...

Good pub grub and breakfast service. Room was large (stayed in the Kingfisher) clean and comfortable. Would happily stay here again. I have stayed at the saracens head across the river before. Overall very happy with my stay.

Excellent location, service, room, friendly staff, nothing to complain about generally. If there was an issue its the usual one when its quiet/out of season, if the full menu isn't always available then just put a reduced menu out rather than wait until the order is being placed to say what isn't available. Other than that the whole experience was...

A great stay here. Lovely cosy room with beautiful river view. Great coffee machine and plenty of tea supplies. Clean and comfortable. Rustic bar with roaring log fires and leather sofas for lounging. Excellent steak for dinner. The beauty of the river and its wildlife speak for themselves.
