Stopped 2 nights in our Auto Sleeper van. Excellent views over looking the river Wye. Plenty of good walking and sightseeing to be had, also you can hire canoes from the site and paddle on the river. Will use again. Choice of places to eat and drink. Toilets and shower block spotless, staff very helpful. Many thanks

Well we had an enjoyable weekend. A few of us arrived on the Saturday even though we paid from Friday to to Monday and we're told we couldn't pitch up till 5pm after we'd paid for the whole weekend was disgraceful. Raft building was much more important ! You are paying for the views and that's about it. The best...

We paid £10 pppn to stay here while canoeing the Wye. It was by far the most expensive place we stayed. We were advised to wait before showering as they hadn't cleaned them yet and weren't allowed to drive in the patch of grass even though a campervan had driven on to it and parked up earlier.

Although I've stayed there before and had a good time. But on this occasion I took my son and some of his friends for a canoe trip. We stayed at Symonds Yat and although it rained through the night we all had a great time. Partly because of the help we got from the staff, my canoe trailer broke just...

greAt experience, site on the river, cracking pub with fantastic food up the road. One of the nicest locations to camp in the UK. Ensure you do your shopping before you get there as there is not a lot in the shop, but other than the top camping spot!

My partner & I rocked up to this campsite on Friday 19th June not having booked as last minute decision. We have a camper van with a largish awning attached. The guy that greeted us was very helpful, initially saying they were full but after speaking with a colleague said we could pitch in the car park which was more...

I stayed at the campsite over the weekend for a short break away from work. The staff were really helpful, willing to assist whatever the issue. The facilities were fine. Toilet/Shower block was more than adequate for a small campsite. Picturesque setting and close proximity to local bars/pubs created the perfect short break away. Will be back!

Excellently located campsite on the banks of the River Wye in nice surrounding area. Good showers available and helpful staff. They even managed to secure us a breakfast at a nearby hotel after they had finished serving! Would use again

I've just returned home following a two night stay with friends. The campsite has a perfect location situated on the bank of the river Wye. The site is not overly-large but is flat and has some wonderful willow trees offering plenty of shade at the edge of the river. The shower and toilet block was clean and the water was...

How does the old saying go, if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. Well, there are some good things. The location is absolutely fabulous with a local pub, hotel and much more. There is a kayak shop with kayak hire and very friendly staff and for those like us taking their own kayaks, access to the...

We are sorry the site did not live up to your total expectations. The toilets are cleaned every day, as is the shower block which has good hot showers, the site is always cleaned and only made messy by the users! We do our utmost to keep them clean, and as it says on the camping form and on check...
