We had a junior suite on the 8th floor complete with jacuzzi IN THE ROOM. It over looked both sides of La Manga and was well worth the money. 144€ half board per night. We were there two nights in October Unfortunately, they were due to close in a week for the winter and staff were in short supply. . This resulted in the food and service in the dining room were not great. Food choice was limited and quality not great.
My wife and I stayed 1 night and had a great stay. Check in staff friendly on arrival and explained times and location of restaurant and coffee bar. The pool area was good and able to get drinks while Sun bathing. Bedroom was very good and very comfortable bed, big bathroom and great view of the mar menor. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice. We really enjoyed our stay and also how friendly all staff we met were. The value for money was very good and we will certainly will be recommending this hotel to friends as a great choice for a short relaxing stay
a great hotel polite helpfull staff clean very good amenatrs lovely pools and jaquses and of course the massarge WOW and the food was very good and the hotel was very well priced we will be coming back again a big thank you to all the staff for there help it does make a difference the only thing i could say is is due an upgrade usb plugs in a hotel is now a must curtains need replacing and bath rooms need a little paint and TLC plug in bathroom dident work but may be they take care of these things in winter out of season
Great hotel on the strip. Easy checkin perfect room exactly as booked. Room large modern with super bathroom and balcony with fab view of the lagoon. Good value buffet dinner at 20 euros with excellent spanish food. Staff very good although not much english understood. Good prices on wine too. After dinner a local DJz played 80s tunes on the large terrace. No hesitation in recommending this modern hotel.
Firstly, the hotel is very clean - which is great. The cleaners work exceptionally hard and I can't fault them one bit. The hotel is also cheap, so I do try to reset my expectations here a little - but even with the cheap room, there was still a lot of improvement to be made. The hotel itself is definitely not four stars - all of the rooms and common areas are dated, and could do with a lick of paint. The pool area outside is drab with unclean sun loungers, and the pool towels were awful - smelly and full of holes! The rooms were very basic, but did the job - again, the towels provided in the bathroom were less than adequate - they had holes in, and seemed to be very old. All throughout our stay there was maintenance works carried out on the floor above - so there was loud drilling, sawing and banging every afternoon as we came back for our siesta. We complained at the desk, and called down to see when it would stop but they didn't seem to know anything about it - they just kept saying they'd 'investigate'. The breakfast choices were plentiful, but not of great quality - the hot food and pastries were all very oily and greasy. Like other reviewers, I was surprised to see toddlers at the 'children's pool' (considering it was supposed to be Adults only). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.…
I stayed at the Poseidon for four nights, my first time away as a solo female traveller. I was a little nervous but as soon as I stepped into the hotel, I felt at ease. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, showing me where everything was and appreciating my little bit of Spanish! The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are spacious with great views. The pool is stunning and it never felt too busy or overcrowded. I always found a sun lounger and could relax in peace. The spa is a nice addition but I only visited once, as I wasn’t a fan of having to wear a swimming cap! I went all inclusive and the food was ok. The menu varied each day and between lunch and dinner, so there was always something new to try. Personally, I was a little disappointed by the desserts as I like a bit of cake, but there was still a lot of choice. I only drank soft drinks, so can’t comment on the alcohol choices available. I didn’t sample the evening entertainment at all. The hotel is adults only but there was a baby by the pool for a couple of days and then a toddler. They were well behaved so didn’t really impact my stay, but I was a little disappointed that there were any children at all, as this was one of the main reasons I chose the property. The hotel was full during my stay but you wouldn’t notice. It was mainly Spanish tourists, which gave the hotel a lovely chilled feel. I really fell in love with the place and La Manga itself and hope to visit again very soon. Thank you for a perfect holiday!…
We stayed here 9 nights all inclusive. Had a lovely time, staff all lovely friendly, especially Patrick, Ivan, and Michelle in the bar. They couldn't do enough for us. The spa is amazing and we used every day. Lovely pool and pool area. Breakfast buffet was really good lots of choice. Lunch was ok love the prawn cocktails and salad bar but evening meal let it down a bit for me as I dont really like meat, so I struggled to find anything that I could eat. Room large clean and comfy. Thanks for a nice stay
This is a good quality adult-only hotel that has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We received a warm welcome on arrival, and indeed all the members of staff we encountered throughout our stay were friendly, professional and very helpful. The spa facilities are fab, and we enjoyed varied breakfast and evening meals of a high standard in the restaurant. This hotel is located halfway along the spit of La Manga, with easy access to both the Mediterranean and Mar Menor, as well as a good bus service, which we used to travel to Cartegena. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return should we be in the area again.
Booked this hotel for 5 nights initially but we liked it so much we booked the remaining 5 nights of our holiday there. Staff couldn't be nicer in all areas!!! Breakfast buffet was excellent, such wide variety and plentiful. And the hotel is super clean!! La Manga is a quiet enough spot so recommend booking evening meal too...again this was as good as the breakfast! Fabulous pool area but we prefer the beach which was only across road, it was just WOW and so clean! Have to really compliment the staff here, couldn't fault one of them. Wish I could remember girl at reception who went out of her way to help us and make phone calls as we'd no Spanish. If you read this a massive thank you again. Well done Poseidon, 10 out of 10, keep up the good work!
Everything about the hotel was excellent we were half board . The price of drinks was very reasonable A bottle of wine in the dining room was under €8 The area around the hotel was very quite very little open
