This is the second time we have the family to La Manga Club in a rented villa. It is lovely and the views can be magnificent , but it does come at a price, not just villa rental but the restaurants. Great for the sports nuts, but we love it being so quiet for that real chill out holiday. The pools are shaared with several villas but we were often the only family down there.
I booked a week in Los Lomas village with my family of wife and three children, aged 6, 6 and 10, mainly on the basis of the many kids activities shown on their website. What I found was very different, there were little or no free kids activities, no kids discos and no kids karaoke. This place is NOT FOR KIDS, also there is nothing within walking distance so reliance on a very hit and miss shuttle bus service adds 20 minutes each way to your journey, so a trip to the supermarket took over an hour-what a disgrace Food OK but very pricey, meal for 5 in Prince Felipe as €166, my main course of fish served cold and raw in places!!!!!!! Appartment was not ready when we arrived so we were put up elsewhere for first night. Kids club was €45 per session per child and was very poor indeed, no cues for pool table, could only access a swimming area two foot deep-disgraceful. Air conditioning in bedrooms not adequate so slept in main area. Food prices in supermakets were extortinate, €1.20 for a cola!!!! If you are a smoker bring plenty with you as only one shop and 2 bars in the whole resort sell them also intermet access was €10 per day would not go back if it was free Ray…
