Warm and friendly check in Hotel spotlessly clean everywhere The room was comfortable with a terrace the views are breathtaking There is a fridge in the room , bring a small kettle if you like your early coffee The food is great good choices everyday and they cater for dietary needs All the staff are warm and friendly There is a gym and massage area You have to book the gym which works and the massage is fantastic and very reasonable priced Drinks are reasonably priced There is an outside bar area and games area all clean the staff are lovely Beautiful swimming pools which are staffed daily by a lovely lady towels are also available for the pool area A fantastic hotel with really lovely staff and great facilities I would highly recommend this hotel
Very nice people. Accommodations not so much. AC barely works in multple rooms that we occupied. They only have a cafeteria and food was average. I would not recommend at all. Lower your expectations. You cannot make any changes to your reservations, it's pay up front and if you want to leave early and go unto your next destination, you are out of luck.
Experience here was lovely. A very well decorated, modern hotel. Located well. Not too much around but enough - perfect access to the beach too. Clean rooms. Food was good, variety for all. Facilities were just as was needed. The only point of feedback really would be a lack of English speaking staff which was a problem at some points, other than that it was a 10/10 stay.
We have just returned home having had another amazing holiday in Hotel Galua. Everything about this hotel is fantastic. All staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The cuisine is excellent and the facilities are first class We’ll be back again soon Alan
As always excellent standard, staff brilliant food superb cleanliness in all areas fabulous. Our third visit to this hotel and we will definitely be returning again. Nothing is too much trouble for them
This is simples. 3 NEGATIVE REASONS: - The decor of the hotel is VERY basic. Nothing near the standards of a so-called 4 star hotel... rooms basic / reception basic / restaurant Basic = BASIC! - The food in the restaurant is very… VERY basic, catering to various tastes in a poor way… and especially to mine, which is REASONABLE. In this case… the food quality is difficult to justify a 2 star hotels. I know that they try to cater to all tastes… but miss to my taste of a good and decent meal. And when they have a microwave to heat food - A MICROWAVE???… that says it all. I know that food needs to be maintained warm… but never so much so to be microwaved. I am not willing to pay this much money to have microwaved food!!! And that is that. - The hotel décor in all is very… VERY basic. In my world, this is nowhere near a 4 star hotel. AT BEST… it may be a very basic 3 star hotel… but I reinforce the words. VERY BASIC 3 STAR HOTEL… not more than that. 3 POSITIVE REASONS: - The room was actually good. I know I paid more for the view to the sea… but in my opinions, worth every cent. - The WiFi was great… no issues - Third reason is… NO… there is no third reason… hence the maximum three star rating. As to the SO-SO rating, I would say: Staff needs training. NO… it is not the staff’s responsibility… it is the accountability of management. THEY have the obligation of training and keeping staff on top of everything. And check-out was a disappointment… they were just SO HAPPY to see me leave (less work), with little customer care training. Small words and actions make a HUGE difference... SUMMING UP: Hotel & ROOM = 3 Star Service & Staff = 2 star Generally Speaking = 3 Star Management = Train Staff = YOUR responsibility 100% - NOBODY ELSE…
I booked 3 rooms. Very nice stay and especially great place of the hotel on the rock. Nice pool with a separate section for small children. There are plenty of free sun loungers and parasols around the pool and on site. Very close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay. We would definitely return to the hotel.
Myself, my wife and our 3 month old stayed here in October for a week. We stayed full board as we didn't want the hassle of having to find anywhere with such a young travel companion. The hotel was quiet as it was out of season (part of the reason we travelled when we did!). The staff were fantastic! We arrived after midnight. On arrival the lady on reception brought us to the dining area where they had put aside a cold meat dinner for us. So very thoughtful. The food was good quality and had a nice variety. The rooms were very clean and views are amazing. Well worth a visit.
Staff is not well trained, specially at the front desk. They just provide confusing information about the use and schedule of facilities. We talked with a guy who looked quite experienced but he had no clue about anything regarding the hotel. We just asked him about the use of the facilities and he was really rude and just told the next client to go ahead without even give a solution. A 4* hotel should have well trained staff, but specially respectful people.
Really excellent Hotel in a great location right on the beach, the pool is fabulous with loads of sun beds. The food is quite good, the relaxation suite is incredible, you need to book in advance, but when you do, you have the whole place to yourself, sauna, hot tub etc. All the staff including the cleaning staff were extremely nice and friendly, lovely rooms with super views. Only thing to note is La Manga is primarily visited by Spanish tourists, you will see very very few English or Irish people, so if its lively irish/ english bars you want, this is probably not the place for you, however the beach walks and scenery are incredible.
