In general, the Hotel did not meet my expectations, we spent 7 nights there in a 3 beds room, to be honest beds were very uncomfortable, and no acceptable food quality. Every night we had almost the same menu for dinner and launch, mostly unhealthy food, the salad bar was awful with giant tomatoes cut, always the lettuce bowl was full of water. actually, we prefer not to eat anymore there. The cleaning service was quite acceptable. Reception and all employees there have been very kind. these 2 star only goes to the kindness of employees there.

Just got back from a week at the reymar, very clean hotel, food was lovely something different every night alot of fish dishes but if like us you aren't a fish eater plenty of other options, desserts were to die for! Room was clean and cleaners came in regular to change towels, I will say that there was only 1 plug socket in bedroom and 1 in bathroom (not ideal) but we got by. Entertainment was Ok not really our cup of tea but we did watch a few of the acts, the older guests absolutely loved it and were up dancing good for them! Location is brilliant, beach across the road, and the strip full of shops and bars so plenty to do, for the price we paid I cannot give any negatives for this hotel, fantastic team well done reymar!

Honestly for the food you should not do it, the breakfast was always fine but the dinner not so much...😬. The room was totally fine socket by the bed and if you want more sockets you can bring an extension cord right? It's a 3 star hotel and that's what you pay for🤷🏻♀️ cozy atmosphere, a swimming pool and hot tub present the promenade has plenty of shops and the beach is not that far walk away! Everywhere it was a great stay!

The hotel was very noisy, as there is a disco right next to it and some super noisy trains to and from Barcelona passes every 15 min, day and night, 24/7 right next to the hotel.

The beach is far away, on the map it seems near, but there is a wall, so you need to walk about 25 min to the beach.

The disco finishes at 6 am. No matter where you stay in the hotel, its super noisy in your room. When you close your eyes, you feel as if there is a crowd of crazy people dancing and playing super loud music around your bed, each night. At 7 am there are heavy vehicles cleaning the road. So there you go, noise again.

Lots of people at the bar at the entrance smoke and drink day and night, so you have to put up with that each time you are going out, coming in or just trying to enjoy the pool. If you are a non-smoker, non-drinker, you won't like that. Especially, if you have children under 18, avoid this place at all cost, as there are much nicer things your kids can be looking at, while on holidays.

Our toilet stank, there was some problem with it, which needed some major rebuilding, but the staff just kept pouring lots of bleach in it, so it was double stinky.

Food was very tasty, the staff was nice, but we won't go again to this hotel, as it's far too noisy and a strange place.

Don’t go by previous reviews… we spent a week here… very clean and COVID compliant.
Lovely room cleaned daily with new towels and sheets
Food was excellent with great choice… slight queue was worth it.
All meals offered hot and great looking dishes…
Nightly entertainment catered for whole of Europe … lots of omp pa pa ….
Pool very clean … sauna and jacuzzi a real treat !

Great location few steps to shops bars and beach

Only negative and not hotel fault are the slightly annoying fellow travellers who believe queue jumping fine … maybe it’s just our British love of queuing and not wanting to cause a fuss ….
Note to self : pack tazar or attitude next time…

We will be back x

Good morning!

We was there in the hotel 5 nights.

It was horrible checking … the receptionist doesn’t talk English language it was very hard to found a parking space when we tried to explain to her with my partner she said she don’t understand and she called her manager after the manager keep saying to us cancel your booking,,, but a thing is we paid before we arrived and it was non refundable which is unfair again… instead of help us to solve the problem to find a parking space because on booking is says parking area is available they said is full but it was very small one maybe for 10-12 cars.. for the 250-300 rooms spaces people in the hotel… after we found … but it was hard because no of them speak the language… just talking Spanish.

Malgrate de mar was a beautiful place but that bad experience we decided not even eat or drink anything there.

I’m not offering that place to anyone if not speaking Spanish or want to parking in the safe place …
Unprofessional

Thank u very much

I don’t even know where to start with this place. It is awful, the pool is surrounded by swarms of flies, the lift is temperamental, the rooms are average , the staff are rude and the food is almost inedible. There is nothing near the place, it was terrible, if your English don’t come anywhere near. No one speaks a word of English. Was told on the last day we were only aloud breakfast even though we payed for full board and wasn’t flying until 9pm that night. We went out one day and didn’t use the food card and when I asked on the the last day if we could use the food card for lunch before our flight we was told by the receptionist that we could and then when we went to the restaurant they said we couldn’t. I then said that the receptionist said we could and then when we went back to reception he told the waiter that we couldn’t? Why say one thing then change your mind? Not that we would have found anything we would have liked to have eaten but the principle is that I’ve paid for a certain amount of food and haven’t received it.

Secondly when we was sleeping each day at 8am the maid would walk into our room shouting? This is not normal.

Avoid this place.

Quite doable, good location, but check carefully. extras, as everything is basic, 5 Euro for remote control, which you get back later with a little good will (we had to exert some pressure), WiFi, also 5 Euro, refrigerator 45 Euro of which you get 10 Euro back, safe -box also 25 Euro... you just have to know. Rooms otherwise fine, breakfast fine, but dinner is the same as lunch, although refreshed, but the food is often cold, just cold! Even if you accept the breathing down your neck from fellow guests, it doesn't really remain attractive. Excellent staff, also for a second sleeping pillow, towels, etc. Basic also concerns storage space, balcony with 2 chairs, which makes sense as a table was sometimes thrown over the balcony, be careful not to book a room on the left (towards the sea), then there is the Disco with all the annoying side effects, entertainment with performing artists is also excellent and a good atmosphere, that's over around 12 noon, ... but the necessary hassle of putting down towels on the chairs around swimming pool, is well known, but also quite a few fines due to towels that were placed ice cold. Tip... Santa Susanna is next door, has nice terraces, shops, is cleaner and well-kept on the boulevard, and has a beautiful legend of Santa Susanna, linked to fairytale stories and a real church to visit... all in all So, do your best!

Booked here as a cheap holiday and cheap is what you get. The room is small, balcony thankfully looking out onto the partial sea view. A television but didn’t use it. No hairdryer, fridge or spare pillows. Towels were provided. No table on the balcony, just two plastic chairs. Only one plug socket in the room and one in the bathroom. The food is awful, barely ate here. Word of advice, start queuing for breakfast way before 8am or you’ll be in line waiting for a table for ages. Didn’t use the pool so can’t comment. Had a couple of jacuzzis by the side of it. The beach is over the road and the hotel isn’t far from subway to get across. Noisy, selfish guests who decide in the middle of the night when they get in to shout and chat in the corridors walking you up. The lift is slow, so expect a wait for that or use the stairs. The only positive about our room was the air conditioning. The man on the front desk when we arrived was really helpful. There’s a free car park to the side of the hotel. Was not a nice hotel, would never ever come back.

Hotel with lots of youth, 15 to 18 years.

Fairly small restaurant.

Small room (711) and small bathroom.

Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Food in buffet form, but this is not too hot.

Too few sunbeds, at least...sufficient seats but there are many people who “reserve” a sunbed with their towel, and they only come across e.g. 16.00 poolside. We once just brought towels to the reception because the people did not come and we wanted a sunbed. The hotel has an anti-reservation policy, but does not apply it in practice.

Many Dutch, and in the evening animation a lot of “Dutch” polonaise and schlager songs are played. This will come out of your throat after day 1.

We often went outside the hotel in the evening.

Cocktails are very expensive (€10) at the Hotel, and not well made either. The Sangria is competitive in price. €12,-/liter.

Transfer to the Hotel is far too long, 2.5 hours in the bus on arrival. At departure the bus picks us up at 10.30, flight is at 15.10h....transfer takes longer than the flight itself.

Good for once, then never again.

It's not terrible. You can't have a 5* and expect to pay so cheap. The buffet is actually quite nice. Your question is not relevant though. It all depends what platform you use to book them I guess.
