Quaint Hotel very clean and friendly. Food good. Advise to book your meals in advance as the village is very Quaint and has no shops. Lovely family. Loved my trip. Bought me away from all the hustle and busted of life. I also connect with Garabandal Heaven. Visit a must

This is a very special location associated with over 2,000 visions of Our Blessed Lady to 4 young , local Spanish girls which began on 18th June 1961. Rosaura (Sari), and her husband run the Hosteria Garabandal, now assisted by their son and daughter. Pilgrims arrive from... More

My husband and I just returned from a four day stay in Garabandal. We stayed at Hosteria Garabandal. Our lovely hostess was Rosaura who is the owner of the place. She was very accommodating and friendly. Even though it was cold in April when we visited, the rooms were always comfortable and warm. TThe grounds at the inn are very... More

I stayed for 7days and 6 nights. It was the month of December. It was cold outside in the 40 degrees in Fahrenheit temperature. Inside my room was warm in the 68 degree Fahrenheit temperature. I had an extra blanket added to my bed and was warm. I was not on any pilgrimage or with a group. I ate breakfast... More

When you travel here you really need to realize it is a pilgramage and that there are few amentiies. When we stayed it was cold and I was told it is always very damp. The heat is turned off at 8 am and most the time turned on around 8pm. One day it wasn't turned on until 2 in the... More

If you're headed to Garabandal, you probably know about the apparitions there in the 1960s. It's not a place people go to otherwise, as it is well off the well-beaten tourist trail. But it is a special place-- beautiful scenery and wildlife; deeply spiritual. And it wasn't as inaccesible (by rental car from Bilbao) as we thought it would be.... More
