You can go to Mahon, visit the Gin distillery along the Port of Mahon..and then you can rent a boat and visit Menorca by boat, which is fascinating. Go sround the island, from beach to beach, eating on one, sleeping on the boat off shore...And enjoy yourself. Try it!

A classic hotel, in a wonderful point, open to the port. ideal as a base to explore Mahon and Minorca. Very good staff, very quiet room, excellent food. I came to Minorca to see the English heritage and -by chance, perhaps- I had a most English experience... Definitely adequate for me.

Stayed over Christmas as part of a HF walking holiday. Very clean, tidy with friendly and helpful staff. Room 207 with a harbour view was a very spacious twin with good size bathroom and balcony. Buffet breakfast very good and buffet evening meal had a very good and wide choice of meat, fish and vegetable dishes. Hotel is in a very...

Fantastic. A first class event with copious amounts of wine, beer and as much food as anyone could wish for and then some! Well looked after by all the staff from checking in to checking out... FANTASTICO!

We are very glad we chose this hotel -perfect for an out of season break. We had a room with a balcony and harbour view which was beautiful to waken up to. Many restaurants had closed down for the season but a few down at the harbour which was just a short walk away, wee open. Also walking into town...

Not too touristy Hotel in a touristy Island. We prefer smaller Hotels and the location of this hotel so close to the Yachting activities were ideal for us. There are quite a few steps to walk to reach Marina set below hotel, but there is also a lift some 200 m to left of hotel. We never ate dinner at...

Stayed in this lovely hotel last week and would thoroughly recommend. We had a balcony room overlooking the beautiful harbour and there is always something to see with yachts and pleasure boats coming and going. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff were professional and friendly. In fact, all the Menorcan people we met seemed to genuinely...

I agree with the positive reviews already posted so just though I would add a few practical details. The hotel is positioned up above the harbour and you have a choice of ways to walk into the town. There is a signpost on the corner of the junction pointing up the hill to the town but it takes you through...

We stayed at the Port Mahon Hotel 2 weeks ago and had a very enjoyable holiday. The hotel was quiet and relaxing and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well appointed if a little small. The food was very good with plenty of choice both at breakfast and dinner. As a coeliac I found the...
