We stayed for 3 nights, wish we could of stayed for longer. Peaceful spot right on the Fjord. Boat service and hire was handy and price was very reasonable for Norway!
Cabin was clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay and space...More
We didn't have a booking when we decided to go to Geiranger, when we arrived other places were fully booked, this place was pretty full but the lovely receptionist helped us and we found a spot! Not exactly in the mid of the tourist area...More
I booked a cabin for two nights six months ago and dreamed about sitting at balcony, sipping some hot tea and enjoying the spectacular fjord view. On the day of arrival, May 24, my husband and I dragged our luggage more than two kilometers from...More

Our cabins have the best view in all Geiranger. Period. All of them are situated in quiet surroundings and have big terrace in the front with view to the fjord. All of them, except for the smaller ones, have also panorama view. The smaller ones...More
We stayed here for three nights, September 15-18, 2016. The location is super nice, facing the fjord, very peaceful and beautiful. Was a comfortable cabin with all basic necessities. We bought our own toiletries and grocery, the kitchen had all basic utensils, microwave, small fridge...More
Excellent place to spend sometime strolling around when the weather is good, and as you wait for the ferry. Helpful people. Also good souvenir shops around. Coffee shops.. Feel lonely too. Good photo opportunities around

It depends. If you want lots of people, lots thing happening, then come in July or August. If you want it quiet and want to discover the beautiful nature on your own, then we will recommend May. The nature is at it´s most beautiful in May and June: still snow in the mountains, big waterfalls and fruit three blossoms (May). My favourite month is May, but remember to take with you warm clothes in case of cold weather.
A comment to kezza from Nottingham: If you don´t want to risk rain, then you go to Sahara, but it is not any more rain in Norway than in Britain. You wrote that further north you go, the more rain. That is wrong. The district around Bergen is the most rainy place in Norway: it rains 3 times as much as in Geiranger.
The last summer we had beautiful weather most of the time. We had one week with bad weather in August, that´s all. That must have been at the time that you were there.
