The scenery is very nice with a swimming pool looking over the area but only one room is a truli. The other rooms are modern and well equipped. Weak points are the late breakfast, very poor WiFi connection, no mobile phone coverage and cardboard walls between the rooms so expect a lot of noise when your neighbors speak or take a shower.

We stayed here one night. Very disappointed we were not in a Trulli. The guy said we didn't specify a trulli so we didn't get one. Something about Hotels.com writes there property descriptions not them. The room was fine but we picked it for the trulli experience. . Breakfast ok. Little out of the way.

Spent two nights in a Trullo. They have tastefully redone this Trullo into what appears three units. They kept the uniquness of a Trullo and adapted it to modern needs. We as a family of four had plenty of room. The unit we had had its own sitting area just outside the door and I am sure had it been in warmer months we would have used it. While some had complained about the warmth of the unit, we had no issues with keeping the unit comfortably warm. The unit came with a coffee machine, and plenty of toiletries. The host (Gentlemen) met us at around 21:00 and gave us information about the unit. He was energetic and pleasant. There is plenty of parking. The breakfast is consistent with every Italian breakfast I have had: coffee, some breads and juice. If you are expecting an Engish, American or even German Breakfast you are not going to get it. What they did have was sufficient and consistent with Italian breakfasts no complaints. The big draw to this unit was the Trullo experience and value for money. You definitely need a car if you plan on seeing anything other than the Trullo. If you do have a car, then I would highly recommend staying here. The biggest draw back was WIFI. It exists but it came and went, so consistency and strength are not great. Overall - Would recommend and would stay again.

We used Trulli le Icone as a base while we discovered the wonders of Puglia this fall. We were greeted by Angela who was wonderfully accommodating during our week's visit and the next day we met the owner Gian Marco who could not have been more helpful in recommending places to visit and to eat during our stay (as well as helping us out when we needed to pay a parking ticket and to thank the gentleman who found our lost phone). Breakfast each morning was delicious with freshly made juice, lovely cappuccino and delicious homemade pastries. Can't wait for a return visit.

We stayed in the Trullo - two girls sharing a bathroom. for ten days. It was a taste of life in this hot southern region. The trullo has thick walls more than a metre in depth so keeps the house cool in summer and warm in winter. The grounds of this place are arranged for relaxing in the sun, taking a spa pool dip or walking around the garden. The breakfasts were very good. On our last night, there was a once-in-a-hundred-year thunderstorm which brought a deluge down through the unique stone tiled roof, which was quite an experience. In the heat of the Puglia days, anything which gets wet would dry out in no time once brought outside, so trullo are ideal in this environment.
