Rooms and bathrooms are all in excellent condition. Breakfast was excellent with home made pastries, cheese, salami, fruit salad and juices - way better than most Hotels in Italy. Mariagrazia and all the staff were welcoming and helpful. Will definitely return.
This is a great B&B with wonderful views of Ostuni from the terraces. The bathrooms are large and luxurious and the breakfast with chocolate croissants, other sweets, cheeses and ham is more than enough to see you through a morning of touring/ It is best for those who are on driving vacations as it is somewhat out of town.
Very nice Hotel / Bed and Breakfast - Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and nice atmosphere. Stayed here with friends in August 2012 for one week. Recommendable for family with kids. Very quite hillside with a beautiful sea view and view towards Ostuni.
The night we stayed at the Pietra Bianca, we had actually booked a room at the Dimora Celeste, another B&B at the other side of Ostuni. However, the air-conditioning in our torrid room at the Dimora Celeste didn't work and no other room was available, so the owners sent us to this other B&B run by some relative of theirs. Instead of the stifling room we had left at the Dimora Celeste, we were given a mini-apartment, with a dinette, a bedroom and a bathroom, even though we were going to stay only one night and we needed nothing more than a comfortable bedroom. The air-conditioning was working here, but, ironically, it wasn't very efficient. I found it difficult to sleep because of the heat. Besides, the window in the bedroom didn't have a shutter or a blind and its curtain let the sunlight flood in very early in the morning, not to mention that the window frame was broken and was about to come off the wall. The breakfast turned out to be quite poor too. How can you run a B&B in Italy without providing your guests with a real espresso and a cappuccino well done? Finally, the last bad news was about the payment. Though the Dimora Celeste had required a credit card number as a guarantee for our reservation, the Pietra Bianca accepted nothing but cash. When we asked them to issue at least a payment receipt, we were given a ridiculous tiny piece of paper with a handwritten statement that went something like "I hereby receive from Mr...". As our payment was actually going out to the Dimora Celeste, they told us the Dimora Celeste would later send us the real receipt. Almost six months later, we are still waiting...…
We stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon to Italy. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was really comfortable (more comfortable than four and five star hotels in Italy). Breakfast include some really good crossaints and nice italian espresso. Nicola really cares about his guests and took us on a full day excursion to Torre Guaceto and some beautiful places around Ostuni. The location is a bit odd opposite the railway station, and you will have to walk on a steep path up to Ostuni. But you are near beaches and restaurants in Marina di Ostuni, whitch is a nice and less crowded alternative
