Close proximity 45 minute to Bari airport and a short drive to Polignano a Mare and Monopoli. A good base to start or end a trip in the heel of Italy. Ostuni is a small town but with a few Place to see and good restaurants. The small swimming pool at the bottom of the garden is ideal for a quiet day or brief swim. Communication was great and all the staff member were so welcome! Recommended! ✔️
Arriving after a long bike ride from another town that day, we were greeted by Francesco and Angela with a spread of local appetizers and wine. It was completely unexpected. We sat in their peaceful garden surrounded by olive trees, enjoying an evening of a wonderful Apulian life. The room was impeccably clean, modern and comfortable. They gave us a ride to and from the town center at night. The breakfast was beautifully presented, and the omelets and chocolate croissants were especially lovely. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip to the region. Highly recommended!
Angela and Francesco have made my stay perfect in every way, and I can't thank them enough for their kind and warm hospitality. Angela even arranged a rental bike for me and drove me to the rental company to collect it! The room was modern and spotlessly clean, and serviced daily. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and the breakfast, with a huge selection of homemade baked goodied, is just divine! Would definitely stay here again!
We had very nice stay at Amostuni with perfect Italian breakfast made by our favourite chef Dora :)Super friendly host and peaceful surrounding make our stay very relaxing and come. Recommend to all who need escape from big town. Thanks Francesco and Angela.
We travelled here by hire car from Solento airport and came in via the outskirts of Carovigno. When we exited the autostrada our sat nav said turn left but turning right towards Ostuni would have been the better option, slightly longer but better roads. We arrived early at the masseria and were greeted by Angela, the manager, who arrived shortly after us. All eight rooms are on the ground floor. Our room was on the far side of the main building consisting of a bedroom and bathroom. There was an outdoor covered patio with furniture and a large suspended basket chair. Tranquil and restful, the patio led on to olive groves. The room is fully air-conditioned and is kept really cool despite an outdoor temp that averaged 35. A separate screen at the door and bathroom window kept out those pesky little creatures that like to nibble on us humans. Our rooms were always kept clean and tidy with clean towels every day. After unpacking we explored and had some cake and drinks with Angela. There is a great swimming pool at the masseria and we took advantage of it on many occasions, water temp was always 30. We met the owner Francesco later that day and had a glass of rose with him. Francesco called to see us most evenings to check that we were happy with everything, occasionally bringing wine with him. The next day we met Dora, cleaner and cook extraordinary when we had our breakfast. Breakfast is served al fresco or inside on the one windy day. Cold meats, omelettes, quiche, cake and fruit, bread and cracker toast are the main items. Cooking is shared between Dora and Angela who produce some of the nicest pastries I have ever tasted. There is a large supermarket about 4k from the masseria called Famila, with a good choice of food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Overall as a base to visit places in Puglia it is a very good location. We enjoyed our stay here thanks to the marvellous staff and the warm welcome we had. We would recommend this masseria to all. PS, they are starting cookery classes at the masseria in the autumn – not to be missed!…
