LANDHAUS LAUBLE Superb location in the middle of the Black Forest. Beautifully appointed hotel, Room. Wonderful large room with separate lounge area, really good en suite and our room had two terrace areas overlooking the grounds & lake. Sadly two single beds, with the wretched 'gap'. But beds comfortable. Dining The food was good, generous portions, I couldn't finish my... More

This hotel is a few miles from Hornberg in an excellent setting. The hotel is very well run, very good staff. The rooms are exceptional; ours, number 14, had a balcony on both outside walls. There is plenty of wardrobe/draw space, a comfy sofa, chairs, writing desk; the room was huge and the bed just the right softness. The bathroom... More

Spent 2 nights here as a stop on our way to Lake Como. Very friendly hosts and the food was excellent. There are lovely gardens but could not really make the most due to heavy rain. Room very clean and a nice balcony to sit on and admire the view. Take a tin of WD40 though as the bed is... More

We were treated like royalty the whole weekend. Flowers and complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival as it was my wife's birthday and our fortieth wedding anniversary. The en-suite room was beautiful with two balconies to enjoy the superb position overlooking the grounds, forest and water feature. (Room 14). The staff were incredible and friendly. The restaurant was excellent and... More

This is a great for hikers who would like to overnight enroute. Hikers seems to be very welcome here. The hotel provides all amenities, even a very nice small sauna and steam room. The staff is very friendly and makes you very welcome. The surrounding is very rural and great to relax. The little lake on the premises is good... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in August. When we arrived it was a Wednesday which is their day off, so the hotel was in darkness and the restaurant was closed. We were met by a lovely lady who showed us to our room and explained where to eat that night. The room had a lovely balcony which... More

My husband and I have been wanting to travel to the Black Forest for the longest time and we ended up booking a last minute trip to the Landhaus Lauble. We only stayed one night but had such a great experience, and were able to bring our puppy along with us as well. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcomed... More

Landhaus Lauble is in a very convenient location within the black forest, but is just outside the town of Hornberg so it's surrounded by trees and beautiful scenery. The staff is some of the friendliest we've encountered and that alone made our stay here very enjoyable. The rooms are also very large and comfortable. We stayed for only 1 night... More

Stayed here one night and everything was amazing, from the authentic German food to the room and hospitality. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to venture out much, as it started raining and then snow. But the area is quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.
