We arrived in pouring rain & the owner was very helpful in getting us established. The room was comfortable & clean. We had a good evening meal at a reasonable price. Breakfast was also good with an excellent choice.

After a long journey all we wanted was a comfortable room and most especially the famous Logis hospitality and good food. We were the 2nd family in the restaurant and were ushered by a cheerless member of staff to a table, where we were then ignored for over 15 minutes, whilst later entrants were served with aperitifs and menus. It...

The four of us met up at the Tirel Guerin but as the restaurant was not open on a Sunday we had made other arrangements, supper at the Beau Rivage for 1900hrs. Unfortunately we got lost and did not get to the restaurant until 1930hrs. Having made the reservation via e mail from the UK we did not know that...

We booked for 5 persons for a meal on the last evening of our stay in the town .the staff are friendly and speak English if you struggle with French the food was nice and the place very clean the service was excellent we all had three course meals at a cost of €380 at which I nearly fell of...

We stayed and dined at Beau Rivage during our bike tour. Our room was situated facing the backyard/garden and was quiet. The restaurant was filled to capacity on a Friday night, with a group of 28, plus individual guests. Although the service was slow due to the full house, the three-course dinner was excellent. As part of the demi-pension, we...

We spent 2 nights here in June, and are astonished at the rating the usually trustworthy Logis site gave it. 3 chimneys for what was a pokey, dreary room on a noisy road and 3 saucepans for the restaurant which completely underwhelmed on all levels. The service was not just poor but downright rude (no basic manners, and food slapped...

We stayed here for an overnight stop on a walking tour. The staff member who checked us in and showed us to our room was friendly and helpful but spoke no English at all. Or room was upstairs overlooking the fairly busy road. We weren’t bothered by the traffic noise with the window closed but I wouldn’t like to try...

We booked this hotel having failed to find room at the other Logis in the town. While it met our essential needs, the room was small, the welcome adequate but without warmth and the restaurant rather disappointing. We found an alternative place to eat for the second evening.

We had booked a room on line the night before as it was in the right area with parking. On arrival we were shown a small dark room at the front on the road. Apparently it was a smoking room which explained why it had a very strong nauseating smell of of a "Glade type" freshener. He then up sold...

We stopped there for lunch on the spur of the moment. The owners were very gracious, giving us and our dog water immediately. (It was about 30 outside). We had the 20 Euro 3-course menu; delicious mackeral over a fresh vegetable salad. My husband had white meat of chicken and I had delicious, not-fatty-at-all salmon. The deserts were great: mine...
