Loved the Auberge des Rois. The rooms were beautiful and the staff could not have been more helpful. We ate dinner there both nights. On the first night, we arrived late but they kept the kitchen open for us. We ate there again the second night because everyone enjoyed it so much the first night. Breakfast (which was included) was...

What a wonderful find on the Belgian coast! We had a fantastic stay here. Charlotte was welcoming, friendly, and helpful, always with a beautiful smile. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast buffet, included in price, was absolutely incredible. We had beautiful ocean view rooms, that even on one of the coldest days in March didn't disappoint. Would recommend this hotel...

The Auberge des Rois is a long established and well situated hotel in the charming village of De Haan. It's located close to the dunes and offers a panorama of an ever changing North Sea. It's a bit pricey for a similarly appointed hotel in the town, but with such a view they can rightly claim to give value for...

We stayed here for one night on our way back from a couple of weeks camping in France. The sea views are to die for from almost everywhere in the hotel. The staff are friendly and so calm it was just a haven of tranquility (of course it may not be this way on a busy hot summers day). We...

We found this hotel was just as its webpage shows - the images could have been taken yesterday. The room we stayed in was one of the renovated ones on the top floor and had a view over the beach to the sea. The shower room was white and bright and a pleasure to use, inc hairdryer and toiletries of...

Agree with first review as far as De Haan and location of hotel are concerned - probably nicest resort on Belgian coast and there are only 2 hotels in this town which are really on the seaside promenade. However, it made me wonder, did this hotel have a complete makeover? Stayed there last summer and went back to De Haan...

If you pine for the days when you could visit a seaside resort that was not only safe for children, clean, tidy, civililised, a proper beach, with proper sandcastle building type sand, well supervised sea swimming and not taken over by greed and over development, then pine no more. We discovered the delights of the Belgian Coast some time ago,...

“If available choose a room with sea view. They are more expensive; but certainly in winter, when terrace is not open at ground floor, you get great value for your money.”
