Bit bizarre when I arrived before 7pm and hotel was locked! But it turned out to be a national holiday day and my reservation had stated that I'd be there a bit later - soon resolved and I got checked in to a nice spacious room with comfy bed and decent shower and bathroom (but no tea and coffee and...

I stayed three nights at the hotel whilst I attended the motor racing at Spa. The hotel was a 30 minute drive from the circuit, which was slightly further than I expected, but it was a pleasant drive, so that was not an issue. I was unsure what to expect as the rooms were so much cheaper than the hotels...

We wanted to find a hotel not too far from our home to spend every now and then some relaxing time. This could have been the right one but... We had two rooms, both not renovated. The decoration was old, the beds had very hard mattresses, old bed clothing and terrible pillows. My bed light was also broken. Our bathroom...

I stayed at the hotel as it was nearish the racetrack at Spa. What a nice surprise. Clean, great service-staff couldn't do more including accommodating breakfast an hour earlier. The food on Friday night on the set menu was world class-really! A stunning lemon meringue dessert! We'll be back whenever we come to Spa! Easily worth the 20 min drive...

We enjoyed three very peaceful nights here at the beginning of June. We stayed in the annexe just 100 metres away on the village square. The room we stayed in on the middle floor had a little sitting room overlooking the square. The bedroom overlooked the back of the property which has its own private garden (with table, chairs & recliners)...

We had a 4 night stay here at the end of May. The hotel is well modernised with large rooms, nice bathrooms and (in our case) over hard beds!! The staff are very friendly and service is generally good. The pool is nice and you can have a reasonable swim if there are no "loafers" in the pool. The food...

We stayed at the Butgenbacher-Hof for two nights in June, and wish it had been longer! We were a group of 2 couples and the rooms were superb, comfy beds and extremely clean and well equipped; breakfast and evening meal were wonderful, we would not hesitate to stay again.

We visited the Ardennes in October 2007. We drove in from Paris for a week long adventure with our bicycles to do some riding. Due to the unforseen we did not get out of CDG till quite late then got lost in Champagne/Ardennes. Poor us.... This in turn landed us in the middle of the town of Waimes and not...

We enjoyed a great arrangement of 3 days (2 nights) at the Butgenbacher-Hof. Very well positioned for great walks around the lake of Butgenbach (5min walk from the hotel) or the very nice woods of Elsenborn and Eifel. Great food, the restaurant only needs a new look because it doensn't correspond anymore with the very nice and modern rooms and...
