We stayed as a family of 4 and although very simple accommodation we really enjoyed the days spent there. The staff is very nice and food is very good. Air con works in the rooms and bathrooms could be much cleaner to be honest. It feels very much like what an island should be before the mass tourism invaded Thailand... More

The beach is incredible, and the bungalows are as close you get to the water on the island. The beach is very private compared to nearby, more commercial beaches. The speedboats does not doc at the beach, which saves you for a hell of a lot of noise. The bungalows are very basic, especially the non air-conditioned ones. But if... More

Delicious food in dream setting with very friendly service... The beach is very beautiful, with just a few visitors. If you want peace or a romantic evening or a getaway tanning or swim - then this place is perfect. The witch theme restaurant that someone mentioned below is not part of the same location.

Nicest spot on the island I have ever stayed. I live in Bangkok and come to the island 2-3 times a month. I have stayed at other places and gotta say I love this place a lot. Can't book this place online so you should call and ask if there is a room. Can be very busy on weekends.

This is the most perfect place to stay for those who want to base themselves in a quiet location within ten minutes walking distance of the louder bars and restaurants. The bungalows are on the most beautiful bay and the restaurant serves lovely food for breakfast lunch and dinner. It is so peaceful and the most tasteful of the cheaper... More

Situated in a wildish atmosphere, Ao Nuang bungalows can be described as a non pretentious place where to spend your holiday in contact with nature. It's not that easy to get there when you arrive in the island, you will need to take a taxi, but once you stay there you can walk to other beaches through a footpath. We... More

These bungalows are in a lovely setting (although some a pretty basic). But I suffered from a serious case of bed bugs (1000ish bites) which didn't show until I was leaving. Therefore it's impossible to recommend. Sometimes the service was a little rubbish too!

Dream location with bungalows right next to the beach, beautiful wooded shaded paths up and down to the restaurant/bar and bathrooms. Short walks to the next bays and beaches which are more commercial and crowded, but have shops, m/cycle hire and all mod cons if you need anything. Best just lying on the beech and read or chat to the... More

We did not stay at the bungalow but we had lunch at the witch theme restaurant on the hill. The owner was pushy and rude but made very good food. The worst thing was there was a topless kooky looking guy staring at my family the entire time, pointing at us and trying to get our attention and the owner... More

My boyfriend stumbled across this place when going for a run. He struck gold. Especially at 800Baht per night. On a beautiful secluded beach, but not far from the main beaches either. -Our bungalow was on the beach -It had a fantastic mosquito net -came with a fan. Wouldn't have needed air conditioning anyway, with the sea breeze it was... More
