It's divided into two parts a main building of smallish rooms on a very busy corner of the island across from beach and many bungalows just up the hill as you go deeper into the island. I had 3 rooms in the building and 2 bungalows for family. The building rooms have icy cold air con, nice hot shower and the bed is pretty comfortable, I found them all clean. One big drawback was the entry door is frosted glass and the hallway stayed well-lit (as it should) all night making sleep quite difficult combined with the noise from the club that was directly in front of the building. The bungalows were much better in that regard but they are bit more run-down and had seen better days but everything worked. At the price point for Koh Samui we would use them again.
Stayed here for 4 nights,I found my room to be clean and comfy, room had AC,fridge TV ,if you leave at reception each morning they will come n clean the room.the beach is a 2 minute walk from the bungalows.they have a restaurant on the beach,I ate there a couple of times, the food was nice and reasonable priced..
We stayed at the sea breeze bungalows. Was absolutely shocked at the state of our, well I wouldn’t call it a bungalow, more like small room. The rooms were dirty, unkept full of mosquitos absolutely nothing like the photos online! The toilet was also rotten to the point I would use restaurant toilets over our own. The grounds we had to walk through were filthy rubbish everywhere. It was quite late at this point so we decided to sleep and complain in the morning. We stayed one night woke up the next morning to no electricity.. this lasted for 6 hours (until we had to leave so maybe longer) no explanation as to why or when the electric would be working again. They seem to use the language barrier as an excuse to not talk to you. We ended up having a family emergency and having to leave the island two days early (thankfully nothing serious) and was actually a god send to get away from the resort. We checked out and I asked if there was any chance we would be able to get even a partial refund as we had no choice but to leave the two members of staff kept talking and laughing before answering me but again the language barrier was conveniently helpful as all I kept getting told was no refund policy I asked if I could speak to the manager, I was told no she’s not here. I then asked if they could call the manager at this point one of the staff members walked out of the room and the other just sat there ignoring me I asked again no response, then again nothing.. I eventually gave up and walked away. They can keep my money. I would not stay here again if I was paid too absolutely disgusting rooms and even more disgusting service!! …
The positive and negative points of See Breeze bungalows: Negative: * Price: I paid 3900 THB for 2 nights in a bungalow in high season (February 2018); for what we got far too much. * Small room * Dirty (dust, dirty bathroom) * Mosquitos: a lot because in the bathroom there was an open window without a net so all mosquitos could come in when in the evening the light was on in the bathroom * Small bathroom. No hot water at the sink. Only hot water in the shower. * Matrass not good. Sheets too small so half of the night you slept directly on the matrass. * You hear your neighbours, you share your bungalow, the bungalow is not completely for your own * Breakfast was included; the first day breakfast was ok; the second day the breakfast was completely different from the first day, much smaller. Only one coffee was included. No fruit. * if you want to sleep a little longer you get awake by the cleaning at 8 oclock of the small roads between the bungalows * you hear the music from the nearby discotheque at 1 am in the night. * no safe * only two towels Positive point: * Location at the silver sand beach is good. * Good bar and nice restaurants in the vincinity Overall: for the price I paid it was a desillusion.…
Don’t go is the only advice I can give. We took 2 rooms for three days. The maids didn’t come once to either room despite repeated requests. The towels and bedding were not changed once and we had to buy our own toilet paper when it ran out. The rooms are old, poorly equipped and dirty.
Although this is great value for the $$$$$ the reason my friends stay here is the excellent service from manager and staff. They go out of their way to make you happy. The place is a little on the rustic side and needs some work.....but it is right on the beach and has a spa, bar and all you need if you are on a budget.
It's a beautiful location on the beach, close to some fabulous bars and restaurants but far enough away that a good nights sleep is guaranteed. Sea breeze seems to have deteriorated over the years unfortunately...the beach bar is no longer used, the lights don't get turned on at night and most of the effort seems to be made in the newer hotel across the main road. It's a shame because you can't knock the view from the beach. Basic bungalows, linens and towels were changed regularly but getting a bit threadbare. Bathroom could do with a good clean, lots of mosquitos in the rooms. Majority of staff were friendly and helpful, they enjoyed a laugh. It's cheap and as I believe some others reviewers may have mentioned...on this occasion you get what you pay for.
Just the place to get away from the busier resorts like Pattaya. Rooms were clean and tidy with a good sized bathroom. Plenty of choice food wise, Thai and European menus. Can hire a bike close by and explore the island. I would go back again for sure.
Bungalows are very close to the beach, and location is main advantage of thos accomodation. Rooms and toilet are basic, with aircon and fan. My room had flat screen TV. Place is not spectacular but for price that was payed I could not expect better.
The Sea Breeze Bungalows on Lamai Beach are a nice place to have has your central location or the Sea Breeze Place (owned by the same family ) which is right across the road is a little better as it is newer and has its own pool. The Bungalows of course have the restaurant, bar, spa and ocean.
