We have stayed here twice. Very kind and humble hosts. The home is though old, its given a beautiful authentic touch and stay here has been fantastic. Close to the town too. Overall very happy and definitely would like to recommend for others.

We do come to Coorg at least once a year, for the last 5 years. Stay at a different place each time. This was by the best, so far. Centre of the city and quiet, with trees ! The hosts were splendid and are extremely helpful.

I visited The Lodge in January and was blown away by misty Madikeri which one can experience right from the bungalow. We stayed in the Lodger suite which had an open sitting area from where one can see the hills and some of the city as well. We did not want an estate stay because we are city people and...

We had a wonderful stay at The Lodge and we loved the beautiful, elegant and the stately home of Smita and Arjun. We are jealous that they own such a beautiful house :) We wish we had visited in season when monsoons were on but otherwise it was a great and memorable stay for us. The only thing was that...

My wife and I stayed in their “Lodger Suite” for 3 nights from 27th -29th November. 2016. Overall, we had a memorable experience to cherish. From Mysore, we arrived in the early morning and had a warm welcome by Mr Kademada Arjun Belliappa and his wife Mrs Smita. The entire place was neat and clean with flowering plants all around....

Had an excellent time spending quality time with the family. Very good and caring staff. Homely breakfast and well maintained bathrooms which everyone was very particular about. Good value for money. Feels like home.

Accommodation was really good with cleaned and maintained rooms. The only drawback is that the breakfast was very limited & person who does it seems to be very rude at times and will not bother or care much.

First off, let me say that I have rated the place 0.5 extra just for its location.- very near to town center and the KSRTC depot (in case you are traveling by bus, you can literally walk to this place). You have to be aware that this a 100 years old heritage property, and a homestay at that. With that...

Waking up to the sounds of the birds and the ambience of yesteryears, The Lodge gave us an unforgettable experience. Couldn't believe that it is so well maintained. After all it's a 116 years old. From the high teak wood ceilings to the antique furniture and the black & white pics, the old world feel is nostalgic. However, the bathrooms...
