Having spent an amazing 12 days in Uganda, and having seen and experienced everything we did, I find it difficult to leave a poor or average review, especially when the penny finally drops that the reason you're being shown round your bathroom by the bellboy with the loo, shower and basin being individually pointed out as pieces of equipment is...

We did spend 2 nights in this location, at the end of the trip. We did some game drives and saw giraffes! The boat trip was also nice. Good location for the last nights in Uganda, very beautiful and a nice swimming pool. Best regards, Bert van Vliet and family

a very clkassy lodge, nice , clean, and beautiful location, just like you may expect it of a safari lodge, antilopes ,zebras and monkeys inbetween the huts. The huts have a good standard, and are comfortable. Mburo lodges loses a point, because but no electrical outlets in the hut, in our case, the hot shower ran cold. and the internet...

I was also travelling with Jonesyp43 and agree with everything he has written, plus the internet was down all during the stay. I was one of those who was relocated to another room which was a few minutes walk from the reception/dinning area. I was escorted to this new room at 10.30pm after the evening meal by two employees who...

3 of us (all male) spent just over a week in Uganda & stayed in 7 different places. This was one of the nicest lodges (lovely open deck to sit on) but one of the worst for service/facilities. No hot water in 2 of the 3 rooms so relocated, 1 of new rooms no hot water again. With 6hrs to...

Nice reception from friendly staff on arrival. We were staying in the Lion cottage with super views over the park. Food was nothing special but definitely ok and the main reception/dining area was a nice area to socialise. Our disappointment was that for the two nights of our stay we had no water for showering/washing in our room until the...

We visited this place over New Year and stayed for two nights. The food was of very low standard, two in our company suffered from food poisoning. The pool was disgusting, none of our kids went near it. There were big holes in the mosquito nets over some beds. The manager listened to our complaints and then did absolutely nothing...

We spent a 14 day holiday in Uganda with the family and visited various locations and lodges. We had nothing to complain until we stayed in Mburo Safary Lodge. Despite the fact that the location is superb, the services is just the opposite. The rooms are okay, clean and most functionalities were working but the appearance is poor. No maintenance...

Excellent service with very friendly personal - you immediately feel at home there. The rooms are clean and with breathtaking view, in the middle of nature. Food is very good as well. I strongly recommend making use of the broad range of services: - guided walk outside of park (still a lot of animals though) with a passing-by in the...

We're a couple from the UK who enjoy short bursts of independent travel each year (read: "holiday"!). I had read the negative reviews before I decided to book Mburo Safari Lodge, but I fell in love with the image of the Lion Cottage on the website with those full length windows and balcony overlooking the savannah. The room didn't disappoint...
