We did the rooibos tour – it was excellent and very informative. You really appreciate the work that goes into growing the tea and producing it! We combined the tour with a visit to Lamberts Bay in the afternoon where we saw the birds.

Friends recommended the Cederberg as a less well known area of South Africa and in researching it we discovered the delights of Elandsberg. Chris was very prompt to communicate with and booking by secure payment method was easy. The location is delightful, an oasis of green beneath rocky outcrops that glow in the sunset. We enjoyed short walks into the...

When we visited the Tankwa NP we stayed at the Elandsberg Wilderness Camp. What an experience. It's a space place which provides everything required! But, no electricity and no mobile coverage. We enjoyed the stay and this experience. We like off-road driving but the quality of the roads to and within the park are quite rough and poor. Some roads...

We were four, on a birdwatching holiday in South Africa. We wanted to see the Cape Gannets in Lambert's Bay, and Elandsberg Eco Tourism was within striking distance, and it is so much nicer, in weather, and in beautiful surroundings, than Lambert's Bay. Annette was over-the-top helpful, doing things for us that we would not expect from a host. The...

We had only planned for two nights with the idea of visiting a Rooibos farm without a rush. But how much more did we get! At the end we found it difficult to leave after three nights, felt like part of the family, had heard lots of fascinating stories from our most lovely hosts Annette and Chris, learned a lot...

Annette and Chris could not have been more lovely . . . The breakfast on the veranda is simply excellent, the fynbos garden that Chris has created is a true plantsman's garden, there's a nice little pool to cool down at the end of a hot day, the bird live is prolific and if you're interested in Rooibos and fynbos...

My husband and I did the Rooibos tour. This was easily the highlight of our weekend. I would suggest that everyone do this tour! Very interesting, informative and great landscape. Chris and Annette who run the guesthouse and tours are very kind and delightful.

This B and B is much nearer Clanwilliam (16k) than anywhere else so NOTHING to do with Lamberts Bay.. NB TripAdvisor. This it ideal for people who want peace and quiet. Prices are R300 p.p. plus breakfast. It is off a dirt track from Clanwilliam so supper could be a problem. 25 minutes from the Town centre. If you want...

My husband wished to visit the Cederberg Wilderness to see where Rooibos tea is grown. This was a real find about 6k down an unpaved road far away from the maddening crowd. Annette and Chris are wonderful hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would advise to book dinner as it is about 20km from Clan William which is...
