This motel is in a beautiful setting. It is only a 7 min walk to the village. We were looked after beautifully by Bob. Great facilities, very private. Highly recommend for a nice getaway from town for the weekend.

Compared to other accommodation in NZ at 4* level I would look elsewhere in Hanmer Springs. A long way from town. Not a friendly reception by staff. Poor Wi Fi, doggie smells, cluttered rooms. No shower. Not cheap for what you get. Others have rated this place highly but I say average at best. Others understand customer service better than this...

We originally booked for 3 nights, but were so impressed by the Motel/Management, and the surrounding area, that we stayed for 7 nights. The Motel units are fully equipped, including in our case a double sized jaccuzi bath, and are in a quiet area within easy walking distance of the town, and backing on to the golf course. Everything about...

Serene, quiet setting on a beautifully kept piece of land, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Super friendly host and warm welcome, even carrying our tea and biscuit tray to the unit for us while explaining about the town, where to eat etc. The bungalows are a really good size with plenty of room to put things,...

After a few days in a rural location with uninterrupted views of the MacKenzie basin we were delighted to arrive at our motel in Hanmer to find we had uninterrupted views across the golf course to the hills around us (an added bonus was the entertainment provided by the golfers as they completed a hole outside our window as we...

We stayed for 2 nights and would highly recommend. The owners were most accomadating and very friendly, with nice little touches such as a welcome basket (which they kept topping up!) And DVDs to borrow. The location was great just a short walk to the town. We would definitely look to stay again if we returned to NZ. Thank you...

Came here for a wedding weekend and was not disappointed! One of the nicer places we have stayed recently, much better than a 4&1/2 star hotel in Queenstown! Owner was super friendly and helpful and the rooms were beautiful and functional. Loved the spa bath! I also enjoyed the rustic and quaint decor all around the motel. Will definitely be...

We arrive after the earthquake and had to have an upgrade chalet, it was fantastic, all the comforts and service you could wish for, welcome basket was filled daily, and towels replaced as soon as needed, toiletries were really nice, definitely no negatives. Bob and Rhianne were perfect hosts. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Alpine Springs Motel over labour weekend with our two little boys and they were very accommodating of family and little ones, providing a highchair and complimentary juice, milk and biscuits each day. Excellent facilities, well looked after and comfortable beds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One night they set up a portable bbq so we could...

We came here for a girls weekend to celebrate my sisters 30th birthday. Nice warm welcome and cosy apartment. Because it was school holidays we were unable to get a late checkout but nice place to stay. Look out for a golden lab roaming around! Best part of the stay! <3
